The BEST French fries in town. Always given complimentary tea, servers are always sweet, especially the girls! I never leave here hungry! Grape leaves are amazing. I’ve brought family and friends here and only had good food and service.

I had the lamb gyro plate.
The gyro was everything it should be, and I have to admit that fries were remarkable!
Staff was friendly and efficient.
Facility was clean and comfortable.
Portion sizes are modest, but honestly it was probably as much as I needed for lunch. Just don’t expect a big huge pile of fries like some restaurants serve.
But do expect quality and flavor.

The chicken gyro was amazing. It has the PERFECT ratio, and the fries are mouth watering. My friend got the chicken nuggets. She said they were pretty good, and her side of fries was great. The staff were incredible, and we were even offered a sample of their hot tea. Let me just say, I will DEFINITELY be getting a glass next time I go. 10/10, I will definitely be going back!!

Delicious, friendly, clean … I could go on. The gyro is delicious with a perfect blend of spices (not spicy lol )! We will be back to try the new rice bowls and for that amazing cardamom tea that is perfect for this cold weather! Thank you for the great experience!

I’ve know about Gyro City for a long while, but was afraid to try it. And I don’t even know why now that I’ve tried it. This place is incredible! The service was top-notch, with the servers being friendly and personable. The food was hot, delicious, and hit just the spot. The spanakopita was a personal favorite of me and my husband. Yes, it’s a little pricy, but it’s worth every cent. We will be back.

Food was phenomenal and the owners of this restaurant is great. We enjoyed the atmosphere and downtown setting, I had the Philly with Fries and my wife had the Chicken Gyro and both was amazing. 10/10 we will be back, Worth the 1hr and 1/2 drive we took to come to this place.

Really great place all around. I came here on the last day of a work trip and it was definitely the high note.

The food was excellent. One of the best gyros I’ve had, as well as some of the best fries around. The service was also great. Super friendly staff, and the complementary cardamom tea was delicious.

Good prices and quick service. A gem.

Amazing Veggie Burger & Fries in Americus, GA

I recently visited Americus for a signing and was thrilled with my meal. Even though I arrived just before closing (they close at 7 PM), the chef personally approved my order. The veggie burger was great, but the real star? The extra crispy fries—simply unforgettable.

I’d go back just for those!

Downtown Americus is charming, and even though it’s an hour away, I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

A great little bistro in the downtown area. Definitely good gyros. A must try is the complimentary hot cardamon tea. Helpful and friendly staff. I also liked the onion rings.

Once again, I Googled “dolmas near me.” The GPS took us to Gyro City Grill. There were only 3 of us. We ordered at 12:33pm and we didn’t receive our food until 1:20pm. We watched everyone order, eat, and leave. No one came to our table to apologize for our wait or even acknowledge that we had to wait significantly longer than everyone else. The drinks and food are overpriced. It cost $3 for a 12 fl oz can and $19.50 for a hamburger. The Wagyu Burger was well worth the money, but the fries were soggy and greasy. They should stick to only selling burgers. The grape leaves were reasonably priced but bland. The lamb gyro tasted like a frozen sausage patty, and I kept chewing bits of hard rock like pieces. If you don’t travel much and have nothing to compare it to, then this may be the place for you, but if you’ve ever eaten an authentic gyro or grape leaf, you will be highly disappointed.
