Just fabulous. The knowledgeable waiter made some great suggestions and even though the aubergine/eggplant option wasn’t available for my choice he gave me a suggestion for an amazing alternative. The flavours were different to my previous Indian restaurant experiences, a real step up! Their friendly manner made us feel comfortable and looked after. I wish they were our local restaurant because I would be back again and again to try everything! Very reasonably priced too.
Edit:
We came back for our last night on holiday in the area. Again, the food and service were fantastic. They recalled the aubergine hadn’t been available on our previous visit and tonight sent that dish to our table as a complementary dish. It was delicious – frankly they should start marketing that sauce because it is SO GOOD! I wish this was our local restaurant! If we are back in the area in the future we will be making a beeline for this restaurant.

WOW, possibly one of the best and most authentic Indian restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. The staff were amazing and friendly, we were well looked after and nothing was too much bother. When we took the 1st mouthfull we were blown away, the food was simply amazing. None of the typical bright colours and overpowering flavours, each dish is cooked to perfection with the flavors complementing each other. This place maybe a 3 hour drive from our home (Leicester), but it will certainly not be the last or only time we pay them a visit. If your in the area, drop in, you won’t be disappointed. Full 10 out of 10.

We ordered the Chicken Dhansack, Dal Makhani and Aloo Saag, and every dish was full of flavour and beautifully cooked. The Chicken Dhansack had that perfect balance of gentle sweetness and spice, rich and comforting without being overpowering. The Dal Makhani was creamy and deeply savoury, clearly slow-cooked and full of depth. The Aloo Saag was fresh and vibrant, with tender potatoes and perfectly seasoned spinach tying everything together.

Portion sizes were generous, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the overall quality was excellent. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere made it an all-round great experience.

We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended if you’re in Tiverton and looking for a proper, flavour-packed Indian meal.

Went in for a takeaway… Will return in the future to sit it! Oni the manager was very nice to talk to and hear all of his plans for the restaurant, he helped me with my order and suggested some of his favourites. Very nice vibe, cosy and well decorated. The food was also amazing! I’m looking forward to having a night out dining here in the future. Highly recommend!

Food was absolutely delicious and very plentiful – we were defeated by the amount and took some home. We took some advice on choices for one of our party, and this proved to be very helpful. Staff were helpful and attentive and it was especially nice that the chef came out to see how we’d found our food. Atmosphere was calm and pleasant.
Will definitely be going again.

My colleagues and I visited Gwalior on 17th December for our Christmas meal as a party of 15, and we had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, and the venue itself was warm and inviting.

The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, beautifully prepared, and with just the right balance of spice. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals.

We all had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Gwalior. I will definitely be returning with family and friends in the future.

Lovely meal catching up with a dear friend. Servicer was excellent, quick to give menu recommendations when asked and taught us to pronounce the names of our dishes! The food was very tasty and the atmosphere is calm and relaxed with low level noise but not so low you’re breaking a silence with your conversation. All in all 10/10 we will be back!
