Had an amazing dinner here. Service was a bit slow, as they were understaffed but the wait was worth it and the food was excellent. The star of the show was the prosciutto with mozzarella and the olive oil was excellent as well. We shared a great bottle of wine and ended up buying one to bring home. Best authentic Italian experience!

If I could give Gvino more than 5 stars, I would! I came here with a group in late December and experienced the absolute best service and food. Sarah was an incredible server and was highly knowledgeable on all the drink and food offerings. Truly one of the best (if not the best) service experiences I’ve ever had. We had a charcuterie board (assorted meats, olives, cheeses, and honeycomb), and I decided on the lobster special for my main. My only regret is that I didn’t take a photo of the food! Giacomo also provided us with three wines to taste and clearly explained each of them — all three were amazing. I decided upon the tiramisu for dessert, which was a perfect way to finish the meal. In addition to great food, service, and drinks, the atmosphere was very friendly, warm, and lively, providing a great way to end off the year. I look forward to returning!

Giacomo, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and always a delight to chat with. You can tell he loves what he does and is incredibly adept at educating his clients about the wines you try. The staff is equally engaging and welcoming, and we always look forward to the thoughtful and delicious wine selections they choose for us through the wine club. Each visit feels personal, relaxed, and fun. A true gem for Loudoun County wine lovers!

What a wonderful wine bar. The atmosphere is cozy, the wine is delish, and the food is outstanding. GVINO is a must-visit! If you need to pick up a bottle of wine the staff is there to help you with your selection. It’s a great place to pop in to meet up with friends, or have a cozy dinner. If you sign up for their newsletter, you will be alerted to their wine pairing dinners. I have been to 3 and they are so fun and educational! Worth a visit!

Sarah was an outstanding bartender! She was charming and took the time to explain the drinks and food to us. Her drinks were very tasty and she was extremely knowledgeable.
The food had a lot of potential. The fish was fresh but unfortunately both were lukewarm when they arrived. We also unfortunately felt pressure from the front of the house to finish quickly in order to seat others. Recommend keeping customer status updates behind the scenes to brighten the experience.
