Love this place! The burrito was fresh, tasty, and nicely filled. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Fries were hot and crispy, and the service was quick and friendly. Big plus for the free salsa station and pickled jalapeños. Easy spot to grab a good meal, I’ll definitely come back

Guzman y Gomez in Deerfield is excellent! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made perfectly. The tacos were packed with seasoned meat, crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and topped with plenty of shredded cheese in a perfectly crunchy shell. You can really taste the quality and freshness in every bite.
The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Our order came out quickly, and everything was exactly as requested. Even the drinks were refreshing and well done.

Do yourself a favor and don’t let GyG slip by. This Deerfield location in particular is going to have a hard time without your dedicated commitment to order online or come out to get some truly delicious and unique food.
This spot on Deerfield off Waukegan has always had a hard time keeping businesses but it doesn’t have to be that way. Plenty of parking here. No real competition vying for spots. It’s clean and neat inside and the place looks professional and pretty nicely done up.
I’ve had pretty much all their breakfast options and none have even remotely disappointed. Good, filling fresh food. At a pretty decent price point. I got the regular breakfast burrito with chorizo, and a latte, and am fully satisfied. Delicious like everything else I’ve had (bfast tacos, quesadillas, etc). It was tasty and fast. Oh and the latte was great and the price was right. There’s a more expensive coffee place right across the street but this one was just as good.
I’ll be back for lunch. Probably not today though, because I’m pretty full. But seriously neighbors, go check it. There aren’t many “fast food” places like this serving the kind of food they do and their success or failure is fully on us. Do we want to be the kind of neighborhood that has competitive food options and successful businesses that hang around or do we want another mattress store or something that drags everything down?

Kept seeing their commercial for the Cali Burrito and had to track it down. This place is great, awesome staff, really good customer service and terrific food !!!! Great decor, and the vibe is right…will 100% be back !!! Don’t skip this place !!!

Rosio and Addy made my experience so good. I’ve already left a review on Yelp about how much I love this place vs. Chipotle – it’s like if you took Chipotle and made it better in every way with more comfortable seats. Thats Guzman y Gomez.

The staff is super friendly and the food was really great. Everything comes out so fast and fresh. Makes it the perfect spot for us to stop for our lunch breaks. Been coming here since they opened and haven’t had a bad meal yet. Wish I remembered to take a pic before I ate all my food! But I did try the queso dip for the first time today and I want this on everything

Rosi provided fantastic service. I’ve been two nights in a row before closing. My food was fresh and delicious both times. The place was extremely clean. The bathroom was well kept. The kitchen area, the steam table where they prep the food and the grill were clean. The margarita machine has no sloppy mess or spillage. Im extremely OCD when it comes to food prep. The staff greets you like its the beginning of their day and we come at about 10:23 pm and its the end of our workday. Im a long time customer of a different franchise directly across the street. I have to say this food is better quality. We had chicken bowls the first night and chicken and brisket bowls the next night. The gentleman the night before allowed us to taste the brisket. We committed to purchasing it the next day. The food is not well seasoned abd prepared because theyre nice, but it does help. You can taste the care in the preparation. I absolutely love this place

Fun atmosphere and my favorite place to get breakfast burritos. The staff is always so friendly with answering all my questions about the menu. I like the salsa station where you can make your food with the just amount of spice to your liking. Fresh ingredients and the veggie breakfast burrito is delicious. Great hangout spot too and affordable! Can’t wait to try it out for lunch too.

About the same price as Chipotle, but the food quality is way better and the menu has more variety. Seating is a bit limited, but it’s a small-ish space so that’s understandable. That’s also not really an issue right now because I’ve rarely seen it very crowded, but I do also wish it would be a bit more crowded because I want the place to stick around.

The other day I visited this restaurant with my family for the first time and I have to say that I was very surprised. The food was great and flavorful, I have a picky child and he ate the whole kids burrito. The staff was amazing, the cashier I believe her name was “Dee” was so attentive and so friendly, the manager Yomira approached the register and pointed out the special on the margarita, which I had missed, I highly recommend it, it was so good!!! Will definitely come back.
