Our food was pretty good, but he selling pint here is the service! It was TREMENDOUS! It was almost like the entire staff had a personal stake in how MY experience was! Our food was fresh and hot, the crab cakes were great and the Key Lime Pie was OUTSTANDING! Great views, plenty of parking, and easy to get to! If you are an out of towner, put this place on your list!

Great view, great service, and the food was good also. I had the wedge salad which was very good and the shrimp and grits which was ok. My dad had the fried catfish and it was probably the best I’ve ever tasted. My daughter had the chicken Alfredo and it was ok. The flavors were just not good in my opinion. Next time I’m getting the fried fish my self.

We were staying in the nearby cabins and decided to visit Guy’s Place for dinner. We were told that there was an hour wait but we were staying within walking distance so we asked if they could call us and they happily obliged. We were called shortly before the hour passed. The place was very busy but we were promptly asked for our order. I had fish and shrimp, my wife had grilled chicken, and my child had a chicken sandwich. The food took an average time to arrive and it was worth the wait. Everything we had ordered was served hot and cooked great. The portions were plenty and the service was great as well. We will definitely return here in the future to try some of their other dishes.

On our trip to MS, we saw a sign for this place, just a few miles from our air bnb. I’m so. Lad we decided to give them a try. The view and atmosphere were spectacular, the food was absolutely delicious. We had 10 people in our party and everyone loved it. But to top that off, we had the best waitress ever. She was so sweet, on point with everything. Best customer service. Gratuity was added to our check but I tipped her way more bc she was worth it. Come to find out she had never waitresses and this was her 2nd day on the job! I hate that I didn’t get her name but she was fabulous. We ate there 4/25/2025

We have been here before and had a wonderful time, so we opted to go here for my husband’s birthday. His name is Guy, so it was perfect, so we thought.
The astomphere was nice. We sat on the deck, had some sun and shade at our table but most patrons only had the blazing hot Mississippi/Alabama sun. There should be some kind of roll down cover for those tables, even if it’s only part way the lake view would still be visible for people. But it is beautiful to sit outside if you can handle the heat and humidity, if not you will most likely be waiting for a table inside.
Food ordered was the Catfish basket and the My Happy Chicken Alfredo. Alongside the cheese curds as an appetizer.
The catfish basket was good, but better the next day.
The My Happy DID NOT make me Happy at all, I almost sent it straight back after the first bite. If you are thinking you are getting a very flavorful dish, you will be disappointed. The sauce was liquidity and absolutely no flavor, very very bland. The only flavor was on the chicken. I ended up only having a few bites, but took the rest home just to throw it away. If you like a good Alfredo and you know what one taste like, this is not it order something different. I even thought it would be good since a man who seemed to eat here regularly ordered it and said it was good. Sir you are mistaken, or have never had a really good Alfrdo.
It would have been nice if they did something like other restaurants when you go there for your birthday. Not that it was expected but the fact that it’s your birthday, chose to spend a lot of money here, and you had the rarity of having the same rare name of the establishment it would of been nice and made up for the wonky disappointed $18 plate of food.
Ran out of Yingling Lager after having 2 bottles on a Thursday. Sure, if it was a Fri/Sat that could be understood but middle of the week and dinner service just began…. not good.
Service was OK but she didn’t tell us about new added items or specials like she did the table behind us after we had already ordered. Disappointed there as well because we would have ordered one of the items.
Best thing was the view. I can’t say we will be back any time soon, but I am sure we will and just order different items.

The food was AMAZING and the service was impeccable. Great drinks and a very cozy atmosphere. We had been traveling and this was the perfect way to end our night.
The chicken sandwiches were so crispy, tender and juicy. The mushrooms were huge and not overdone. The shrimp were gigantic and very tasty.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves some fresh fried food.

We stopped here for dinner last night. We were just passing through. I don’t remember the name of our waitress but she was the best!!!! We asked for recommendations and she most certainly delivered! Our food was phenomenal. We will definitely be back any time we’re in the area again. In fact, we’re probably stopping by again next week, on the way back home from our trip!
