Ultra soft meat, melted in your mouth. Well balanced sauce, all cash (or check), btw.

What they say about the ribs is true!! They’re VERY good &I used to travel all over KC trying different good BBQ for their ribs lol. Id give 5 stars, but there’s a specific personal preference of mine they don’t hit (competition tenderness where it could fall off the bone but doesn’t, theirs do).

Guy & Mae’s has been around forever, and awesomely famous for their “fall off the bone” ribs. BUT let me tell you their sandwich menu is to die for! Piled high and the most tender meat ever! You won’t be disappointed!
The price is beyond reasonable; two sandwiches, two sides and two beers for $30! Great atmosphere as well and the staff was more than accommodating, providing quick service and delivery as well as making sure we were happy with our dining experience.

Guy and Mae’s have been around for years and is still a great place for ribs, beer, and smoked meats. Plenty of street parking. They do NOT take credit/debit cards so bring cash or plan to use their ATM.
The atmosphere here is not as good as pre-covid because they cleaned the place up and used all the hanging money to stay afloat during Covid lockdowns. They were not allowed to continue the practice, I think for fire risk concerns. Highly recommend trying this place out!

A nice small town restaurant. Had a turkey sandwich omg what a pleasant surprise, great tasting and moist, not dry like most turkey you get at other places. The ribs are what their known for, will try them next time.

1st time out and was not disappointed! Ribs fell off the bone, sides were great and dessert topped it all off! 10/10 recommend!

We always love stopping in Williamsburg just so we can get the amazing sandwiches and ribs at Guy and Mae’s. Have never had a bad experience.

Pretty good price for the size of the sandwich. I would have given 5 stars if they actually had BBQ sauce. The waitress gave us stuff that should have been for mozzarella sticks. Which they dont even sell lol. The sauce was like marinara sauce. Other then that still pretty good.

While it was pretty good, I would not agree with the people that say this place is worth two hours of driving from KC for. If you are passing by it’s certainly worth the short detour off the highway. Ribs; not much meat, oddly cut, and a little dry but not horrible. Beef sandwich; uniquely sliced thin beef, great flavor, little dry but adding some sauce made it pretty good, incredible value at $3.50. Disappointed that there was no pulled pork to try but the unique beef sandwich makes up for that. Hot pickles are another unique item and they were very good. Tomato based sauce, a little on sweet side, also pretty good and unique. Cool divey atmosphere.
