The highlight of this restaurant is definitely the food. We ordered the chicken tenders and the original burger; both were exquisite. The combination of flavours and how each plate is prepared are masterful.

The customer service and atmosphere are average, nothing really impressive there. However, the reason I’m not giving them 5 out of 5 is because of two things. The first is how obviously overpriced this restaurant is. $125 USD for three pub-style meals is a lot. The food was excellent but at the end of the day we just ordered and couple of burgers and chicken tenders. As for the second reason, it’s the extra charge they impose for refills on “fountain” soft-drinks which is usually free. They also don’t offer tap water, so you must buy bottled water instead. These tactics make the experience negative, as if you’re there just to give them money, instead of enjoying a nice meal and wanting to come back again.

So we went to Guy Fieri’s American Kitchen and Bar at the Cancun Airport, yesterday for lunch.

Overall, the experience was mixed and unfortunately, significantly overpriced. Our total bill, including the tip, came to nearly $200 for lunch, which is excessive for what we received.

Food Details:

– The Big Chopper Sandwich: This was the highlight of the meal and absolutely magnificent. It was extremely well-balanced, the meat was juicy, and it was a “flavor bomb.” The portions were very nice.
– The Original Ringer Burger: This burger was juicy and well-balanced. However, both this and the Mac and Cheeseburger contained an overwhelming amount of lettuce, which made them unattractive and unappealing. Had there been less lettuce, the Original Ringer would have been a fantastic burger.
– Bacon Mac and Cheeseburger: This simply did not work. The mac and cheese was flat, dry, and not cheesy enough. The excessive lettuce compounded the problem, making the entire dish a mess.
– Beers: The Bohemian beer was fantastic—very smooth—and I highly recommend it. The Dos Equis and the Modelo drafts were also very good, cool, and crisp.

Summary of Concern:
My main concern is the poor ratio of vegetables to meat on the burgers, specifically the excessive amount of lettuce. This detracted significantly from the quality of the dish, especially given the high price point (burgers were around $30 each, and the sandwich was $33–$34).

Service and Location:
The service was very good, and our servers were excellent. The location itself is fantastic.

I hope this feedback is helpful. I would only recommend a visit if the issues with the burger portions and vegetable-to-meat ratio are addressed.

Best regards,
Emilio Díaz

This restaurant does an impressive job accommodating the large crowds in the international terminal. We were seated after only a very short wait. Our waiter, Juan from Taxco, was friendly, attentive, and offered excellent menu suggestions.

We shared a tableside guacamole and the smokehouse burger. Juan is truly an expert at creating the perfect guacamole—the flavors and textures were outstanding. The smokehouse burger features pulled pork piled onto a juicy hamburger patty, topped with onion rings and a chicharrón, making it rich and satisfying.

The fried potatoes were perfectly cooked, and the blue cheese dipping sauce was a great addition. Altogether, it was a wonderful meal. They also make excellent iced tea and lemonade.

I don’t know what it is with Google, but I’ve been coming here for 3 years leaving reviews and it says this morning that I’ve left no reviews.

Do here I go again this time I had wings, i’m a wing guy. I make my own, and they truly do brine them. Here they’re big, juicy, tender, and perfectly lightly fried and I love the Wasabi blue cheese.

My favorite thing on the menu are the hamburgers. They’re so good, cooked perfect and so filling making you ready to go for your flight home.

Ive seen where others gave this place a ding for slow service. Well, respectfully, restaurant service is slow, they cook everything to order. So get over it or sit at the bar services are much faster.

Also, I’ve seen people talking about the high prices, again, you’re in an airport, everything’s ridiculously priced across the planet. It’s not just a Mexican thing or Guy Fury’s restaurant and I’m not defending it. I’m just common sense here. You’re gonna pay out the nose for anything in an airport.

I love this place. I will continue to come here. Great big smiles. Great service, love it.

Warning it is now seven hours after eating this and my tummy hurts take that but what you will but it’s just considered warning. It hurts a lot ouch.

Guy Fieri is a national hero. He lives up in Santa Rosa in California, but we are eating in the Cancun airport to Guy Fieri restaurant. In my opinion. The highlight of one of the highlights was the food when we first arrived we sat down and looked at the menu and saw that there was a guacamole on the menu. We hadn’t eaten yet today because we had to check out of our hotel and rushed to the airport so we were relieved to see that there were breakfast to Jason options on the menu upon ordering the guacamole we were treated to a tableside show what are you doing so next up we had to go to the restroom and there isn’t a restroom in the restaurant so we went outside and it took 20 minutes to get into the restroom but that’s not the fault of the restaurant that’s Cancun airport when I came back when I came back, I was happy to report that the food had arrived. I ordered a chicken sandwich and also tortilla soup and the tortilla soup was just OK, but it was yummy with the avocado dip into it. I’m an avocado man apparently with the guacamole as well ha ha ha ha ha ha seriously the chicken sandwich really hit the spot because we hadn’t had breakfast yet. We’re really hungry what we were eating we were discussing the pros and cons of Guy Fieri and I say there are no cons the manners in national hero. He even lives in Santa Rosa California. Did I mention that already any advocates for soft power for food? There is a lot of memorabilia around the restaurant which made me feel like I’ve arrived at home before I even left Mexico wow thanks guy. Thanks guy. You’re a good guy.

This place is in the secure side of the Cancún airport. My wife is a smoker and I smoke cigars when on vacation in Mexico. We went here before our flight home. You can sit on the patio for a fee and smoke if you order food which we did the smoke fee is deducted from your food/drink bill so no brainer. We both had drinks and a light meal. Chicken tenders and fries and a Caesar salad. The chicken tenders are not your kid version they are delicious and came with three dips. The fries were done nicely and the Caesar salad was very good. The service staff was awesome fast attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere on the patio was very relaxed and I enjoyed my last cigar before heading back to the great white north (Canada). Great place great food and friendly service.

We had a 4 hour wait for our flight at terminal 3, and decided to while away some of our time with a burger.

We felt that all options in the airport were very expensive, and Guy Fieri’s was no exception.

That being said, at least we were seated and waited on by a very pleasant waitress.

The food was really tasty, without being exceptional, and the restaurant was a nice place to spend some time. My wife did like the access to an outside smoking terrace.

Guy Fieri’s at the Cancun Airport is a great place to relax and enjoy a good meal before your flight. The chicken fingers were crispy and well-cooked, and the BBQ had a rich, smoky flavor. It’s much better than the usual airport food, with quick service and a fun atmosphere. A nice stop for anyone looking for a solid bite before heading out.

Located in Terminal 3 food court, Guy Fieri’s American Kitchen & Bar at the airport, offers American-Mexican fusion, featuring dishes like Trashcan Nachos, burgers, wings, tacos with a twist, alongside margaritas and mule cocktails. There are three options; burgers, subs, or pizza. You can order any at the cashier or computer kiosk. I had the OG Margarita Pizza but the flavor town was missing. The 22oz Dos Equis was $22 CDN and made the wait home barrable lol. Do yourself a favor and eat before you come to the airport unless you like paying for $35 burgers and $25+ cocktails.

Actually not bad food, especially for an airport restaurant. Portions were very large. We got the dip sandwich and wings. The extra fries were unnecessary and pricey. Also, the double skinny margarita was apparently forty dollars…kinda crazy, but glad I got the double.
