Well this place used to be a 5 star but now the dont hardly give u chicken I mean I got a little Chicken with My Bread for the 5 minis called ahead 30 mins early and got there seen people order the same thing in front of me and got theres b4 mine also only reason I went inside was because no one awnsered at the drive-thru Window …. see the picture my pinky Finger is bigger than the Crust of bread that’s supposed to be chicken … very disappointed I will get food else where but what’s bad is in the past I would have rated this place 5 stars but not now…

Guthrie’s has moved it’s way to my top spot in chicken restaurants. We drive from Fort Payne any time we want good chicken. The service is great and the restaurant is always clean. Food is served piping hot and at a very affordable price. I highly recommend it!

Good chicken, good fries, and the toast was GREAT. The building, though, needs some TLC. First impressions are nasty front windows. The floors are brown, sticky, and dull, and the lower walls need a fresh coat of paint.

We stopped in yesterday just riding back home from Chattanooga and was greeted by the lady behind the counter. She told us about the special they had and took wonderful care of us. I wish there were more people like her working these days. Food was as good too. Thank you!!

Super nice Guthrie’s. As always, the food was excellent. However, even though it was an hour before closing time, the staff had already mopped up the floor and was clearly ready to close before we got there. They were quite disappointed to see us. They did serve us, but then quickly began re-doing the mopping which made no sense because we were going to have to make more tracks back over it when we left the restaurant. And, sure enough, we did.
