I recently tried the chicken finger sandwich at Guthrie’s, and overall, it was a favorable experience! The chicken was golden, crispy, and full of flavor, making for a delicious bite. The sandwich was satisfying, although it did tend to fall apart a bit, which made it a little messy to eat.
Kid friendly. Clean. Bright. Inviting.
That said, the taste more than made up for it. If you’re looking for good fried chicken in a casual setting, Guthrie’s is definitely worth a visit!

This was my first time eating at Guthrie’s. Overall, it was good experience and good food. The service at the drive thru was quick, and the staff was ok. The girl at the window was not rude but she was also not very friendly. She looked like it had been a rough day.
Pros:
Tenders, were nice juicy white meat
The breading was very pleasant and not very seasoned
Everyone in my family enjoyed the flavor
The portion size was right in line with Zaxby’s, Chick-fil-a, and Slim Chickens. I preferred the taste of Guthrie’s chicken tenders over these three chains by far.
Beautiful new building- Very clean
Cons:
Fries were undercooked and a little hard
The girl at the window could have been a little more friendly
No hot sauce! They need more options for dipping
Overall- I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a family-friendly dining experience if you have picky eaters or are sensitive to over seasoned tenders. I will definitely go back to this location, and I will also try other locations in the future.

They opened today and we went in the door around 8:20 pm to a still very clean facility. We walked right up to the counter and were waited on by 2 very nice girls. We paid and with in just a matter of minutes we had our food. The tenders were a little small but man they were good. The fries were fresh and good. The coleslaw was very warm but had a good taste to it but I’m not eating warm slaw. We will definitely be back.

The food at Guthrie’s Olive Branch (8277 McGregor Crossing) is always clean and tastes great, which is why I’ve been a frequent customer. However, the customer service needs serious improvement.
Recently, I went through the drive-thru and got home to find no ketchup or utensils in my bag. When I called to speak with the manager, I explained that this was the second time I’ve had issues. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the manager was combative, told me the GM instructed them not to give ketchup unless asked, and then hung up on me when I asked for their name.
Good food doesn’t make up for poor service. Hanging up on a customer and dismissing feedback is unacceptable & reflects badly on the restaurant. Guthrie’s needs to train staff better because this experience makes me think twice about returning. I don’t need to pay for an incomplete service and be disrespected.

I mean the size of the tenders say it all … got two meals requested Guthrie sauce with both of them, only received one. Employee asked if I wanted ketchup I said sure, only received one… spent $25.00 for tenders that are thinner than my pointer finger. Just wish ‘quality’ was still a thing.

This chicken is the best in the entire area! People will wait in line for a long time for Chick-fil-A, or talk all about Gus’s, but my personal favorite is Gutheries!! It’s so good! It’s not too spicy or nothing but the crunchy parts. This chicken tastes hot and fresh and homemade! It’s delicious and no wait! Thank you!

Courteous and speedy service in the drive thru on Sunday eve at 830 pm. I ordered a snack box with honey mustard sauce. The food was hot, fresh, and presented. Only issue is that the food is very salty, which says a lot coming from me since I am usually heavy handed on the salt.

for over 60 years I’ve eaten it a lot! But Guthries in Olive Branch MS has changed all that – this is the most amazing fried chicken ever! These people invented the fried chicken strips so they better do it right and it’s the only thing they do so they better do it right and this particular location in Olive Branch, MS does it SUPER RIGHT … it’s literally the only fast food we eat anymore! Thanks to all the wonderful staff for making us feel at home the moment we walk in the door. With fast friendly service and extremely clean facilities we know how hard they work for our meal enjoyment!
