Ordered a side of fries. They usually come in a styrofoam container and you get a decent amount. Ordered from them on the day of this being posted and I received an open container in a bag. It was small. I went inside to ask and waited in the lobby for about five minutes because there were no associates behind the counter. After finally being served by a team member I was informed they changed the size of the container but “aren’t informing customers if they don’t ask. But we’re only giving 5oz of fries now.”

My wife loves their sweet tea, so I’m by there pretty often, but honestly, we’re not that crazy about Guthrie’s chicken so we dont get food there that often. The service is always polite, friendly and prompt, though. If you like Guthrie’s chicken this is a good place to go for it.

we decided to stop by here on a whim after passing it earlier in the day and i am super glad we tried it out! the food was very fresh and delicious. the chicken had a great breading and was very tender, while the fries were hot and crispy. the special sauce is amazing as well. the ‘snack’ box was plenty of food for one person and i even had some left over for later. if you get the chance to stop by the original chicken finger joint, definitely do it!

Just an okay chicken finger restaurant. I would say it’s pretty much on par with any of the other chicken finger restaurants around as far as chicken, fries and toast are concerned. While I have yet to try Raising Canes new location, I think they are almost the same, Zaxby’s has more options and since their prices are pretty similar I would have to give Zaxby’s the edge. I would say that out of all of them JJ Fish and Chicken would be my first choice. The portion sizes aren’t even comparable and for the same price I paid for the “4 piece box”, I could have gotten 4 chicken tenders that were at least double the size of these. So for most bang for your buck I would consider JJ Fish & Chicken (speaking for location on hwy 42, McDonough) always hot and cooked fresh, or Zaxby’s for options.

I have to start off by saying I’m from Louisiana. I’m new to the area and I was conversing with someone about raising canes. They told me to try this place out and it’s basically the same and good. I got the snack box since this was my very first visit. Well, I was not pleased. The chicken tenders were so tiny and overly cooked. Them being too well done, made them dry. The fries were crispy and fresh. The sauce is good. I don’t mind paying whatever amount for food, However for a $9 plate of disappointment, I will not be returning. It wasn’t worth the $9. It sucks, because I was so excited to give you guys a try.

So glad we finally have one of these! Everything was fresh and delicious! The sauce is a little spicy to me but my family loved it. The bun is soft and has chicken tenders inside. The chicken tender combo comes with about 5 tenders, fries, and a drink. I wish they had some type of dessert but we will be back!

Just okay. I ordered through Uber eats so I won’t speak on food temperature or delivery quality. This was my first time trying Guthrie’s. Tenders were so small! Portions seemed a little small compared to the prices. The food was tasty. I do prefer cane’s or Zaxby’s, but it wasn’t bad. It’s worth a try.
