This place made our last night in Cuba a good memory one .

Everything was great, finally a good quality delicious and decent place to eat with a calm and friendly atmosphere after bad experiences with many things in other places, I really recommend this place!!

Gusto Havana Italian Restaurant actually just calls itself Gusto Pizzeria. Their up to date menu is gotten through a QR code. I don’t have data in Cuba so they got me into their Wi-Fi. I’ve posted screenshots of the QR code.

They have comfortable seating.
Many of the items on the menu someone in the past had posted that we wanted (and that made us choose the restaurant) are no longer offered. The only seafood is now fish of the day now- so no mixed seafood or lobster. There are no black beans as a side and it’s still on the menu but no moro rice. No sauteed vegetables anymore, either. Perhaps supply issues made them simplify the offerings.

They give you some focaccia. The mixed salad is nice and there is even Modena balsamic vinegar to put on it. The two types of bruschetta were both delicious- I preferred them to the pizza. The pizza was alright- we got a Margarita but would have liked some vegetables on it. The mushroom pizza comes with a choice of meats (we don’t eat meat) and there were no other options. A “veggie” pizza would have been nice.

They have no wine and the only domestic beer is Crystal. Bottled water costs more than beer.

Dollars are accepted. 10% service is added to the bill.

(Surprisingly) the best pasta my wife and I have had in a long while! Cooked to perfection, with oil, fresh garlic, and chili flakes. Margarita pizza was very good too. Kids enjoyed their spaghetti and tomato sauce as well.

Chill, very good food and very good service. Best pizza you can eat is here! Proper Italian! Very honest in calculating the dollar vs pesos. They ordered a taxi for me as-well. The owner and all the staff are very amicable and very friendly. Highly recommended place!!

The pasta is al dente, the salad is fresh with plenty of olives and cheese. The service is absolutely fantastic, Emily deserves all the praise in the world.

Best italian place ever! The food is awesome, service perfect and staff friendly and welcoming. We had a bruschetta and prosciutto pizza, will definitely come back if I return to Havana and try other dishes. Wine very good too, and a fair price for all you get. Highly recommend 😉

Best restaurant we ate at in Havana. It was so good we came back a second time!

Eggplant parmigiana and pasta carbonara were to die for. Pizza was delicious and the chicken was tender and flavourful. Everything was cooked to perfection.

For drinks we had cocktails, a bottle of Zacapa rum, grappa and Vin Santo. Great recommendations from Enzo the owner.

Moreso than the food and drink was the service. They really made us feel at home. As we were a large group of 9, they made room for us under the moonlight when they were already at capacity. Regular patrons shared their wisdom (Thank you Ram!) Enzo chatted and had drinks with us, and the staff were all courteous and on point. We even invited them to a salsa festival after dinner as we were having so much fun.

I am a firm believer of eating the food of the country you are in when I am on vacation, but you will not be disappointed having a dinner at Gusto!

I was originally looking forward to dining at this restaurant because of several local recommendations however, the service was lousy at best, the waitress was rude, the food was very dry and had a chemical taste to it.
