I was traveling, and I just wanted a hot dog. I found The hot dog king restaurant, and Im glad that I stopped here.
First, the service that I was given from Mrs. Starvoula was first class. She was very kind and pleasant. She was very personal, I asked her where she was from, and it started a long continuous conversation.
The hot dogs were the best I’ve tasted. I added some chillie sourkraut on my dogs. I also ordered a buger.
If I ever visit anywhere near this restaurant, I will make sure that I make the effort to drive to support this hospitable restaurant.
I tried to go home with Mrs. Starvoula, my wife told her how much trouble I get in.

Sitting at the counter was perfect, hearing the banter.
Lots of long time customers.
Two loaded hot dogs, bratwurst, half bowl of their chili, and a fountain drink, $20. More than I usually eat but I wanted to give it a real try. Wonderfully authentic, unpretentious, suggestions from the grill staff.
Great food and great dining experience!

This is the only hot dog place I will ever go to. Their hot dogs are delicious with the choice of many toppings, their fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and the atmosphere is so welcoming and kind, the picture of Southern Hospitality. When you come here you’re family, you get your belly full of delicious food for a good price and you leave with a smile.

After reading a recent article about this place I ventured out Friday evening with my mom and no hard feelings I wasn’t impressed. In fact I was a tad bit disappointed . I ordered the footlong chili cheese and it was just ok. Sonic’s hotdogs tasted alot better sorry.
I have no intentions of returning however I’m glad I did frequent it it just didn’t do anything for me nor my mom. Our waiter was very nice didn’t want leave that out.
