First time eating dinner here. It was a great experience. Promptly greeted and seated. Clean and nicely decorated. Lucy was our waitress and she was awesome!! The teamwork was obvious and that was nice to see!! The drink glasses were promptly refilled. Sweet tea and beer from a local brewery was great. Athena chicken and pasta was delicious. Bayou pasta was also very good. Huge bowls of pasta – we were stuffed. Thankful we didn’t get appetizer, but will give them a try another time. Will definitely return to try some other menu items or maybe one of the daily specials.

We had a wonderful meal here. This is our first time. The service was nice. The food was great. We love the fried pickles the euro platter and the cranky Yankee beef on Wick was delicious. The portions were generous. The fries were fantastic and the place was clean. I will definitely be coming here again.

Stopped in for dinner tonight, Friday night. Service was super friendly and attentive, even though they were busy. Drinks were yummy ($3 drafts while we were here), and the food was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and delicious! We had the Beef on Weck and the Hangover Burger. OMG the gravy fries!!!

Fantastic food. Large portions. Great prices. The owner is a wonderful person that truly cares about the food and his employees. Our new spot to hit while in the area. All our meals have been great and seeing the other meals come out look delicious. Has a nice bar and you can see the cooks cooking.

Great place to grab some good eats! My husband is a Reuben Sandwich fan and he gave theirs 5 stars. Looking forward to trying the soft shell crab sandwich in season. It came highly recommended.

Amazing brisket sandwich! Been there twice, different cooks, and amazing both times. Onion rings also awesome. Nachos with chicken were loaded with toppings. Beef on Weck was great when it was there on our first visit. Terrific food!

What a great local eatery. If you have an issue just politely ask and I will buy you a beer if they don’t make it right. My wife and I have had numerous items and they have all been wonderful. The pricing is on point and the quality is great. Morris and Kevin know their inexpensive wines as well. It nice to enjoy a bottle of wine without spending $40. They have a $20 list that is perfect for us commoners

Inside the restaurant is pretty small, not a lot of tables, but the wait staff was super friendly and attentive. For an appetizer, we had the Mediterranean melody, which was just okay. For entrees we had the Athena chicken pasta, bayou pasta, and the fried soft shell crab salad that was on special. The pastas are a good size portion, but are a little expensive for what they are and it’s an extra $4.50 for them to be served with salad and bread, it doesn’t come with it. The Athena chicken pasta was a little boring and dry, not enough olive oil or garlic. The bayou pasta was delicious, the sauce on it was so good. The soft shell crab salad was good. Overall the food was good, but a little expensive.

If you are ever out this way, you need to check out this place. Delivered a spa out here and we stopped to try it out, not a single negative about it. Service was fantastic, food was phenomenal, I had the Bayou Pasta, and as an added bonus we got to watch a tight knit community in action. Everyone who came in knew each other and greeted each other warmly. Need to sell more spas around Lake Gaston for sure…

I want to give a lower review, but I understand they were busy. From the wait staff bickering at each other, to the glass breaking and going everywhere by the poor youngster host trying to do 100mph and going nowhere fast. I got to watch my family eat their food because they forgot mine, no refills, we finally got some refills and no ice, asked for ice 3 times. Salads were forgotten, sauces were forgotten, our waitresses just casually hanging out behind the counter trying to appear busy. It was a complete mess. Bangbang shrimp was pretty good! We came here because the Watersview Restaurant was 1.5 hr wait.. We should have just waited. Sorry for the bad news but, this place needs some team training and teamwork. The energy was off badly.
