Ordered Mostaccioli 4/2 special with Greek salad and requested marinara sauce instead of meat sauce and added mushroom. This is important since I’m vegetarian. I got meat sauce and no mushrooms. Went back to get what I ordered. Got marinara sauce and mushroom, but all the noodles were undercooked and some even had some crunch still, the mushrooms seemed completely uncooked. The breadsticks that came with the order were also more like bread twigs, literally a 1/4th the size they usually are. The manager did give a refund and apologized which was nice. That being said, this location has gone down hill fast. I’ve had repeat issues the last few times I’ve come here and will no longer be returning unfortunately.

I never review. But u better not let David portnoy near this place. Zero crust. Zero sauce. All cheese. Literally like an under done breadstick. I asked for a well done maybe some cheese browned. Drenched in grease.
Had to pat it down before this pic. Full flop. Couldn’t bite it more than 2 times.
2.8 tops.
Oh and my soaking wet salad that should feed one person. I think the head of lettuce chunk does the justice. Literally I have brown lettuce and there isn’t anything not soaked. Might help if they made it when u order not sit in a fridge for probably days. Once u take dressing out maybe 5 bites of lettuce (minus the head of lettuce chunk never cut.

Honestly I am tired of the quality of the food lately when I come here.
Previously it was burnt spaghetti noodles as Alfredo and the manager was great fixed that paid me back for my meal, another time the dressing was all over the bag and this time the bread is straight dough. It has only been this location.
The people in here need to take more pride in their work.

We ordered the lasagna dinner for 2 and a second larger uncooked “cold “ lasagna for an upcoming family dinner. The salad and bread sticks were fantastic and delicious unfortunately they didn’t give us the ready to eat lasagna and when we called the girl who answered didn’t even let me finish explaining the issue before she brushed me off and hung up. I grew up in Livingston county and was so excited to have an old favorite..sadly the experience was so disappointing due to poor service and a poor attitude. Won’t be back

I don’t typically leave negative reviews. But I’ve lived in Howell my entire life and used to love the breadsticks. Multiple people have complained about them being doughy in the middle, and you’re still serving raw dough?? This isn’t even the middle being raw. You can completely tell from the outside. This is disgusting and I can’t believe I spent $7 on a bag of dough. I didn’t open them until I got home or I would’ve given them back. Unacceptable, short staffed or not you cannot serve raw items. Please do better.

Bummed out! I love Gus’s & it’s a go to for us ladies at work. I ate pretty much my whole salad & found a bug I’d never seen before. I think it was on the prepackaged apples that come with the chicken salad. Please watch out. In all fairness, my lunch was refunded. On top of the bug, I didn’t even mention we did not get the extra ranch’s & the sauce for the breadsticks that we ordered and paid for. Rough visit but we still love Gus’s. Gonna take awhile to recover from that bug though!

Pizza and breadsticks were cold. I went to pick up and the girl still had to make my salad, meanwhile my cold pizza and breadsticks were just sitting there on the counter. Dressing was mostly oil and didn’t taste right at all. Pizza was doughy and undercooked. We won’t be back at this location. The location in Hartland is great.
