We stopped by Gu’s Noodle House in Woodbury after a long day of baseball, and it was exactly what we needed. The restaurant is bright, clean, and welcoming the moment you walk in. Service was quick and friendly, our food came out fast, which was great after a tiring day.
I ordered the beef brisket noodle soup, and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the brisket was tender and full of flavor. My son got the chicken katsu noodle soup, which was just as good, crispy chicken with a tasty broth that really hit the spot.
Everything about our visit felt easy and enjoyable. You can tell they care about both the food and the experience. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area, a great find and a perfect meal to end the day!

Everything about here was great. Best first experience at a restaurant. Ambiance was amazing. Very clean all around. Food is amazing. And got a free sample veggie buns for reviewing as well. Definitely recommend a visit.

I had the beef noodle soup with black garlic. My boyfriend had the brisket noodle soup. We split the pan fried dumplings and steamed buns. And omfg it was ALL amazing. I feel silly it took us so long to eat here. We’ll be coming back, very soon!

Not enough words can describe how much I adore this place. Down to the kind workers, the fresh ingredients, fresh taste, and beautiful atmosphere, this place is truly a hidden gym in South Jersey! It’s truly hard finding a restaurant specializing in noodles that isn’t across the bride. Definitely worth trying!!!

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining on the opening day. She ordered the Beef Noodle Soup and I ordered the Seafood Noodle Soup and we both ordered Pan Fried pork Dumplings. Plus we were given 2 Pan Fried Pork Buns on the house. Food was simply Awesome. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate. Service was on point, and the prices are down to earth. My wife and I can’t wait to come back and enjoy such a wonderful restaurant. Check out the photos of our meal. Everything plus our sodas came to under $40.00. You can’t beat that.

Today was my first ever visit to Gu’s. The quality of the food and the well lit and open floor atmosphere create a comfortable and light ambience. I love the sky recessed lights. My little girl enjoyed the space and enjoyed food. She ate all her noodles and relished the taste of the tangy sweet sauce that comes with the fries. The noodles and the fried rice were so good, I couldn’t choose a favorite. I liked them both! I’m a long time with resident of Woodbury and I am so glad to see this nice cozy, pleasant spot. The restaurant is clean and classy. It’s evident that a lot of thought, time, and money were invested in making this place attractive. This is a great Place to add to our downtown. Although this is my visit, it certainly will not be my last! Highly recommend.

Very good food. Large portions. Perfect portion of noodles for soup. Never had scallion pancakes before and they were great. They had full chicken wings, that tasted fresh with flavor. They delivered very quickly. Definitely will order from here again.
