Ordered via Door Dash so I can not speak on service or atmosphere but the food was delicious. Ordered Chicken Parmesan. It came with a very fresh house salad and some garlic bread. The portion size was huge. Great value for the price. I will order again when back in the area.

This is one of my go to places for dinner. Last night was our ladies night out. Happy hour ends at six, so if you go early enough you can enjoy one of the happy hour appetizers. Pizza is great. I love the appetizers especially the Ahi tuna bites cooked to order. The bang bang shrimp are also excellent but they are a bit spicy. Most of us had burgers and none of us were disappointed. You can’t find a better burger in Mechanicsville! Our service was beyond excellent—shout out to Danielle! She got everything exactly as ordered without missing a beat. Full bar. Great salads and more.

Being from out of town, we relied on a local to pick the restaurant. We ordered a crab cake sandwich, steak wrap and shrimp plate. It was delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and super friendly. (Don’t recall his name but do remember lots if rings). The owner came by several times to check on us. Get there early, it got crowded. Great food!

Placed a take out order of Fish and Chips. When I got home and opened the container, it was basically 4 soggy Fish sticks and NO FRIES!!!. ended up just throwing it in the trash and going to McDonald’s ,, who in this case had better food

Ordered baked spaghetti. Paid Xtra for meat sauce and meatballs. This 24$ plate of spaghetti had almost a pound of spaghetti and hardly any sauce! There was meat and tomatoes, but it was so dry! It was a “white” spaghetti dish! The sauce to noodle ratio was horribly unbalanced. But thank goodness ( I say this very sarcastically) that there was an inch thick layer of cheese. It was inedible! I just took a few bites so i didn’t feel like i completely wasted my money, and then threw it away..This was so disappointing. And not the first or second time that Gus’ has let me down. I believe I am done with this “Italian” restaurant. Do yourself a favor, skip Guses and go to Romas…

Food has always been pretty good, however, every time we go we are seated in the same section by the front door which is cold from being opened constantly not to mention always 3+ young kids standing around talking or using nearby tables to clean things or do other tasks while we are eating, which seems it could better be done in the back somewhere. Also, they definitely need help in the mixed drink/cocktail dept because I don’t think a single drink has been made well esp. for the price. Could be a good place but need older staff and better drinks.
