Such a quiet diner, but big personality on the foods. I ordered the sampler.
Let’s start off by, omg I never loved Indian food as much until this restaurant came into my interest. I came here during fall. So yes, I’m so sorry for NOT posting a review, BUT I’m here.
The quality of spices and blend of herb will melt in your mouth. This amazing local restaurant SHOULD be something on your list while you visit Montrose. They serve imported beers, no I didn’t drink it. How do I know? I observed others. Not a complain, just pure happiness while everyone ate.

Man that was tasty! We got the sample platter and shared it between 2 of us. It came with so much stuff, and the waitress was so kind to bring us even more sauces to dip and try. We had been wanting to try Guru’s for some time, and we are so happy we finally did! Thank you for the great service.

Ordered takeout from Guru’s and was impressed by the food. We ordered a vegetable biryani, bengan bhartha, and a chana masala. Asked for spicy and spice level was great. Love that they have vegetarian and vegan options. Portions were large, everything was tasty.

The curry is very good. The garlic and normal naan is fine but the cheese naan is pretty bad. I think they use American yellow cheese in it and I’ve never been more disappointed in a cheese naan. I will say that the vegetarian sampler is wonderful even if it is definitely too expensive.
The service isn’t that great either in my opinion. The server tended to disappear into the back and it can take a little while to get their attention. I feel like it is a staff shortage since they no longer offer the buffet even though it is blatantly advertised on the front of the building.
I’ve been here twice but don’t expect to go back.

Let’s talk about appetizers chicken dumpling were good but not the best, salsa that comes with it helps a lot, calamari’s salsa also help a lot. If you want to try a little bit of everything get the sampler platter is has a good taste on any food that comes on the plate even they look the same they have different on seasoning, the decoration might need an update and also they need music to get a better atmosphere. However the service also need a proper training to know how to serve costumers besides that it’s a solid 4 . Give them a try and let’s support our local business. If you don’t like what you get on your first stop, stop by once more.

Got samosas watch were hot and delicious, so good I got another order! The chicken vindaloo was perfect! Lots of tender chicken, perfectly stewed tomatoes, and nice soft potates. We just randomly found this place (we’re here from out of town) and I’m sure glad we did! It had plenty of options for all the different dietary needs of our group, which is hard to do. The atmosphere was cozy, and the plateware was even cool! Very highly recommend.

We went here because it said buffet. But apparently they closed that part even though it still said it on the building and even still on this site. We still ate lunch but for the price it is just not worth it. Lady who waited on us(owner) was not very nice and seemed very mad at us asking about the buffet! the restaurant itself seemed dirty.

We had lamb vindaloo and lamb masala. I cannot remember ever eating better lamb masala. The service was great and they kept our drinks refilled( which is always a big deal for me ). The food was delicious and spicy! I will definitely be going back and if you are in the mood for Indian food, do not pass these guys by.

food and service was great very good we had the sampler dish and it was spectacular. BUT I Give them four stars only because the food didn’t seem freshly prepared or hot it was a high warm temperature. We believe this is because the dishes were probably sitting in pans from their buffet which they do at lunch time. However the food was very good and the service was very good so I wanted to give a five but had to mention the temperature of the food at the dinner time.
