A solid sushi conveyor belt option for Atlanta. The fish was fresh and everything had good quality control. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a quick bite to eat or just want the experience.
Prices are fair with plates currently being offered for $3.49. Those plates can contain 2 Nigiri, 3 specialty roll pieces, or 4 regular sushi pieces. If you calculate to a full 8 piece sushi roll you are paying roughly $9.30 for specialty roll and $6.98 for a regular roll. These prices stand out in Midtown where it’s rare to find any roll under $12.

Will not go back all three of us got funny tummies after dinner later in the evening. Why does all of their sushi have a sauce or crunchy on top of it, I am assuming because it doesn’t have any flavor. Not everyone likes that crap. And if you order you will be lucky if they send it out to you. We ordered udon noodles with shrimp tempura when we sat down and 30 minutes later we still never received it, though other people were getting their orders. Also ordered crispy calamari for $6.95 they sent out three pieces and a half pieces not how it is listed on the menu picture included. They should have bought the franchise Kuru Sushi that is from Japan it would have been better product.

Rice is under seasoned. The cuts of salmon are the overly fatty buffet style quality. Menu is heavily centered around rolls that have no discernible flavor. It could be a good place if you’re looking for a speedy meal, novelty, or don’t actually eat raw fish.
On the bright side, the service is fast and friendly plus the location is convenient to get to on foot.

Happy to have a revolving sushi place in midtown! I think it will be a great addition to the community. I came in solo on the Thursday night of their opening week.
The fish was fresh and well prepared, with bright colors all around showing the ingredients were not out too long. I tried to beef udon soup as well and it was hearty and satisfying.
Service was friendly and attention, with multiple staff members checking in on me throughout my meal. The manager/lead server on shift was doing a great job educating and guiding the staff on steps of service. I wish however they had given me some of their names to work with! Maybe I will learn them on my returning visits.

Amazing sushi and great service!
I stopped by this restaurant for dinner and was really impressed. The fish was fresh, the rolls were flavorful, and everything was beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome.
The dining area was clean and comfortable, and the food came out fast.— highly recommended!

As a precious chef at Michelin star omakase, i feel like there is a room for improvement for food. Currently, to be honest, the food taste is not good. Rice is bit uncooked and dry and too blend( need more vinegar and salt) sashimi size is good but it taste blend (assuming the staffs there put in water or wash it for too long. If you do the flavor is gone. I hope you guys resolve these feedback and improve!! I am willing to visit in the future if these get resolved. Service and atmosphere was good

Guru Revolving Sushi is a delicious, new spot in Midtown—love that we’re getting more restaurants we can walk to! The sashimi and nigiri were super fresh, and we went overboard on apps but loved everything, especially the veggie tempura and beef udon. My boyfriend said the chicken karaage was better than Chick-fil-A (I know, blasphemy, but he might be right). The spicy tuna handroll was so stuffed with spicy tuna, I could barely finish it. You can even ask for bottles of extra sauce, which is a nice touch, and they had a box for all the extras we ordered. We finished with strawberry mochi and a fried red bean fish, both so good. We’ll definitely be back! Love that we can walk here!

The sushi here is incredible! I often don’t find the quality of conveyor belt sushi restaurants to be that great, but the sushi here far exceeded my expectations. The sashimi was delicious and great quality. And the seared salmon was delicious. I cannot wait to come back!

This is a new favorite spot of mine right here in the heart of Atlanta. The food is super affordable delicious and the staff is incredibly responsive. I suggest getting the beef Nagari. Don’t waste any time put this on your must eat at list

I have never had a bad experience at guru. Every purchase I make here I feel extremely satisfied, and I come multiple times a month. The owner is always present and makes sure everyone is happy. The staff is friendly. And the sushi is fresh and has great rice to fish ratios. The takeout is extremely reasonable priced, 2 people can eat for under $40 if you prefer fish over fancy rolls. Love this place! Neighborhood favorite.
