Working locally, staying in a hotel nearby. Found online so had the Gurkha chow mein! Was outstanding! Best chow mein I’ve ever tasted, really clever fusion! Very friendly staff on pickup. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience at this Nepali restaurant. The food was very delicious, with authentic Nepalese flavors, generous portions, and a fair price.
We traveled all the way from Bristol to visit Stonehenge and decided to eat here—and we are so glad we did! The food was truly tasty. The restaurant is also very convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Salisbury station.
A special thanks to the Dai for the excellent service and kindness. We really appreciate your warm hospitality. You are doing a great job and proudly representing Nepal .
We highly recommend this place to everyone. Please visit—you will not regret it!

We ordered takeaway from here last night and we’re really impressed!! Not only did we get 30% off online but we also got extras in our order for free. The food was incredible and really delicious, we don’t order curry takeaway often so glad we decided to try somewhere new because we’ve found somewhere we will keep returning to!! Thank you for a lovely meal and quick delivery

Great food and portions. Very tasty, the naans were really good and felt fresh and homemade. The chicken was tender and the curry was also nice. Samosas were very nice and at the right temperature, not boiling hot but just right. The service was attentive and kind and the price is very fair for the quality. If you’re around give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

First time eating at Gurkha Kitchen in Salisbury tonight. Mightily impressed. Great staff, very attentive. The menu covered everything you could ever want from an Indian restaurant. And the food. You need to try it. Some of thee best Indian I have ever had. The four of us who ate there will definitely be returning soon. Highly recommended.

A big group of us were visiting Salisbury for a weekend, we had seen the positive reviews online and booked for the Saturday night. A few locals tried to put us off saying there were better options but honestly I can’t imagine anything could come close. The quality of the food is amazing, everything tasted fresh and there didn’t seem to be any of the standard sauces used. Everything was unique and seemed to have a lot of fresh ginger, garlic and whole spices. Really glad we stuck to our guns as this is an amazing place, especially considering the reasonable pricing. I’m imagining the lighting and decor have put of the locals we talked to. Honestly though the food and friendly staff more the make up for it.
Thanks for spoiling the birthday boys from bristol last night!

Just had a great meal here. Great staff very peaceful and tasty food. Also treated very well and had a special deal on at the time which was a great surprise. Ordered 2 curries rice and a beer. Made 1 plate full and still had most of it to take home with me to finish. Great all rounder flavours and peaceful satisfying evening out. Highly recommend.

A hidden gem in Salisbury.
Having lived in Salisbury for two years and tried many of the restaurants and pubs in the area, I must give the highest of praises to this hidden jewel by the railway station. From the moment we arrived, it was like being welcomed home to family. The service was impeccable – professional, polite but warm and friendly. They have Cobra on draught, which is another bonus.
The food was simply to die for. Possibly the best meal I have ever eaten anywhere. The flavours of each dish were carefully crafted to pair with each other – the duck starter one of my favorites, and the chicken madras the perfect level of heat. The portions were more than sufficient, and I was able to have leftover curry for lunch the next day (it was just as delicious as the night before).
A truly wonderful experience, and I cannot wait to bring my friends and family, and try more of their dishes!
