Günter Hans has a limited menu of food but more than a dozen great beers and a full bar. On a weeknight, it was not at all busy and I found a comfortable booth that had a power outlet. A great opportunity to catch up on some Yelp reviews (I am so far behind, tonight’s reviews were from West Virginia sites!).

This is a great place to go and have a couple of beers. Both indoor and outdoor areas are lovely. My only complaint is that two (not fancy) pints plus tip ended up being nearly $30. Sometimes they have deals — go when there’s a deal.

First visit, decided to try the cheese and champagne (date night) thing. We also ordered a bretzel each. The only good thing was the champagne. Of the four cheeses on the board, none were worth mentioning. The camembert was meh, the borsin cheese was ok, and the other two were atrocious. One was covered in some kind of jelly and was closer to pie or pudding. I have lived in Europe and I only mention that to say I was roundly disappointed. If you are looking for good cheese, I would not recommend this. The service was also not great because we were not given silverware or napkins. Only giving two stars for the ambience. Probably will not return.
