It is a nice place to have a drink and chat with friends, at the same time playing board games together. The staff is super nice and friendly, gave us his professional experience on the coffee taste.
Beside coffee, they serve wine, craft beer, tea, and can soda. Also, some sweet bakery.
I will definitely come next time with more friends.

Got a matcha latte today.. i couldn’t taste the matcha at all, it tasted like a cup of milk even thought they said they use two scoops. It also wasn’t whisked enough, full of clumps and just not the best color either. They only had oat or coconut milk for alternatives would love to see an almond or soy option. Overall just wasn’t satisfied. This seems like a great place as a gamer and fellow rpg nerd and I’d still love to try events here etc, the matcha latte was just really sad is all.

The Gaming Guild checks all the boxes 🙂 they have delicious drinks and baked goods, it’s a great spot to hang out or get some work done, and everyone who works there is lovely. One of those places where everyone seems to know everyone, and I always get a good feeling when I walk in.

Super cosy, welcoming vibes. Delicious all-vegan pastries (this is the best vegan muffin I’ve ever had) and fun seasonal drinks menu, and gluten free options! Large outdoor seating area, and of course, a huge selection of board games, as well as a community gathering spot.

The Gaming Guild is a great place to hang out with some friends and kill some time. They have board games where you can pay $5 a person for the whole day to play almost any game you can imagine. They have GREAT fresh pastries, and a really nice drink selection.
You can even come here just to sit with your book or laptop to get some work done. Definitely a great place, and not expensive 🙂

More than just a board game cafe, this place is my whole community! I can’t say enough how I am thankful for the Guild. The coffee is special like nothing in the Hudson valley, roasted locally and perfected by the wonderful baristas.

A wonderful board game cafe in New Paltz. Visited for the first time for a weekend trip. I didn’t choose to play a game, but loved that there was the option. I ended up reading and journaling for a few hours. Would recommend the vegan fudge brownie, it was delicious!

I recommend the mocha, the mead, and recently had their bacon breakfast burrito and loved it.
I always come here for table-top role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons, or Monster of the Week. Everyone who runs it is very very nice and accommodating.
They also have a wall full of board games to play so you’ll never get board. From the classics like Monopoly and Sorry to beloved games like Scythe and Ticket to Ride, they have everything!

This is one of my favorite hang out spots, they have amazing owners that run all kinds of events, I personally love the Tuesday open mic and the Thursday trivia night! They also always have great tea/coffee drinks and sometimes even food specials! Highly recommend, 10/10
