This was the 1st time dining here. I must say, the owner (who waited on us) was friendly, personable, and overall a wonderful person! She made sure to make us feel welcomed and even made suggestions on the best thing to order. The food was authentic and delicious. I highly recommend the quesabirra! The salsa was fresh and tortilla chips were made on the spot. I also had 2 strawberry margaritas, when on special were only $6, also great! We can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu. They even have breakfast starting at 8am on the weekends.

The reason to stop here is the Horchata. I try it everywhere that has it and this is the best horchata around. By far. Refried beans could be better, but everything else is typically very good.

Not sure how the ratings are so good here. I asked for a dry pulled pork burrito and got a wet chorizo burrito. My friend got barbacoa tacos and said it was okay but dry. The rest of my family didn’t like their food. Some of us remade dinners since it wasn’t good enough to eat. Service was average and atmosphere was basic.

This place is fantastic! The food is awesome, the service incredible, and the atmosphere is wonderful! We always stop by when we are camping at Yankee Springs. Having worked years in the restaurant industry, I have to say, I have never seen a cleaner restaurant. I always feel bad coming in after rustic camping as I take full advantage of their plumbing. If I had to recommend anything, it would be the breakfast burrito for breakfast and just about anything on the menu for lunch or dinner. Make sure to trÿ their traditional dishes, very authentic. A truly hidden gem!

Ordered take out (taco dinner and a burger) and the food was ready in 10 minutes. The food was hot, packaged nicely and tasted great! The restaurant looked nice and clean. Service was wonderful too. Both of the ladies were very sweet and helpful. Prices are also good!

Decided to try this place out. Tamales were awful. Dry and they appear to not be fresh. I could not eat them. The “Barbacoa” I was expecting authentic barbacoa not roast beef. Taco meat was very bland. The rice must of not been fresh either some of it was dry and hard.
The beans were good though! I hope they improve these issues and would like to try again.
