The wait time for food wasn’t long at all; things came out regularly, and we were left alone to enjoy. It was around £40 per person, and it was well worth it as we left super satisfied and full! Massively recommend the chicken wings, the Delhi samosa chaat, and the amazing gulab jamun.

7th March 2026 Update!
We went back again with friends last night and it was fantastic all over again! Our server was the amazing Suruchi, who was so lovely and made sure all our needs were taken care of!
This time we opted for some different starters and had to try the biryani, everything was phenomenal! If you haven’t been to Gumnam yet, I really really recommend it!
The space is warm and comfortable, nice to sit in, though the décor could definitely be refreshed a bit. Service was brilliant, especially Prachi, who was welcoming and very attentive.
We ordered onion bhaji, tandoori wings, till wala prawns, Indo-Chinese Hakka chicken Schezwan noodles and lamb seekh kebab – every dish was full of flavour and cooked really well. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. If you’re in Dundee and enjoy Indian food, this place is well worth checking out.
1st class food and service. Very reasonably priced and the waiting staff were friendly and helpful. We had the pleasure of having Dhruv as our waiter and he was lovely.
We ordered starters, mains and drinks for 4 and were only £104!
We will definitely be back the next time we are up in Dundee.
The empty plate in my picture speaks for itself!
Highly recommend a visit to this restaurant, absolutely % across the board.
My only comment would be about the seating arrangement; the tables felt a bit small and congested. And, it would be great if they could introduce two or three food options for kids.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience!
My first experience was through delivery on 28th September, when I ordered Butter Chicken and Bhindi Do Pyaza. The Butter Chicken was creamy, rich, and full of flavor. It was exactly how it should be. The Bhindi Do Pyaza was also excellent, with a well-balanced blend of spices. It quickly became a favorite.
On my second visit, I dined in at the restaurant. This time, I ordered Paneer Makhani, which turned out to be the highlight of my meal. The paneer was melt-in-the-mouth soft, and the gravy was packed with taste. I couldn’t resist ordering Bhindi Do Pyaza again. I guess I really fell in love with the way they prepare it. I also tried the Khumb Palak, and I thoroughly enjoyed its rich and flavorful gravy.
Overall, I had a great dine-in experience. The staff were kind, attentive, and very sweet, which made the meal even more enjoyable.
Highly recommended!
