We haven’t been here since it was the old Rizvani’s. Food was delicious! I had the chicken Edgar with a chicken breast, shrimp, mushrooms, peppers and olives over pasta. Soooo good. My husband had Veal Saltimbocca. Tender and delicious. Plus your choice of soup or salad plus homemade bread! And it’s BYOB too! Our server, Jenn, was attentive and pleasant. We will definitely be back!

This was such a wonderful surprise. After coming to Rizavani for years very disappointed when the other owner took over, but now Gumita was trained by Mr. Rizvani and it’s marvelous again. The food was stellar the portions are huge the bread is nice and warm and you have the option to bring your favorite wine. He literally is there to please us, you have to stop in. We ordered the apps and no one would let me take photos because it smelled so good so that’s half what came out. We are so happy to have a great local Italian restaurant with the best pasta fagioli around reminded us of my Sicilian mother’s.

Holy smokes look at this steak plate is $23.00 on a Saturday night. That’s crazy!!! So tender for a 20 Oz. 2 inch New York strip steak. NUTS! My wife had the cavalette with shrimp and broccoli Rabe Alfredo with sausage. I ate most of hers too. You have to come in. Look at these pictures.

First time trying, got some takeout … pizza: was great… plenty of toppings and cooked well! Quesadillas: were delicious, stuffed perfectly and great portion as well! The pasta fagioli hit the spot! We will definitely be back to try more!

This was our first visit here to Gumita’s . It was a very pleasant experience all around . The service was top-notch. The food was delicious. The food was the perfect temperature and very tasty. Beautiful presentation. The Server was attentive, efficient ,friendly, helpful, kind , and polite. It seemed like a family run restaurant. Everyone working as a team. The decor was inviting. It had enough lighting to read the menu. Our meal was not rushed at all. The menu has an extensive selection. The prices are reasonable. The waitress did not try to upsell anything which is what we like when we dine out. She was not pushy at all. She did not try to pad the bill. The Food was fresh and tasted delicious. The sauce on the veal parmigiana was delicious. The portions were just right. The warm fresh baked Italian bread was delicious. We were greeted by staff the moment we walked in. We were seated in a timely manner. We were waited on in a timely fashion. Our order was delivered correctly. The waitress smiled the entire time. She seems very pleased to work there and happy with her job. We highly recommend this establishment and most certainly will return soon. They also offer take out and delivery. They accept credit cards as well as cash.

Rizvani’s Pizza & Rock
horrible. The meatballs tasted
absolutely disgusting. Like they we
frozen and then microwaved. We
expressed this to the nice server since
she had asked if something was
wrong with our dinners due to our
plates being full.. She spoke to the
manager and she did not care. Didn’t
even attempt to speak to us about the
situation or anything.. We left a
restaurant still hungry at almost 8pm
to go make dinner at home. Such a
shame. We paid for food we did not
eat and left our server her tip (since it
wasn’t her fault.) but this was such a
disappointment, we have been coming
here for years and the blatant
disregard was something I have never
experienced in any restaurant.

We had an excellent meal started with chicken tenders pasta I had shrimp, scampi, and my partner had a combination of stuffed shelves, lasagna manciotta and the sauce was excellent, The bread was also excellent service was phenomenal. Very nice place and we had carrot cake for dessert to bring home.

So our regular pizza spot was closed and this was the only other spot with both flavors we order. I was very pleasantly surprised with price and quality. My family is super picky and we all loved it. Will be back for sure. The dinning area looked so cozy.
