We had our first visit tonight. Some was good some was not so good. First, they charge for tap water…..who does that? I ordered the shrimp poboy and the wife got the catfish plate. The poboy was good….not the best I’ve had, but good. I will say the French bread was really good. The catfish plate portions were great, but the fish was kinda bland. There wasn’t much seasoning on it. I guess the worse thing was I really wanted the bread pudding….. wouldn’t you know it, they were out. Out of bread pudding at 6pm on a Saturday night, btw they only have two desserts. I would go back, but wouldn’t order the catfish and hopefully they have bread pudding.

I was born in Louisiana. This food was like being back home. It takes time and patience to make Cajun food. This restaurant hit it out of the park. Our family of 5 plus grandmother ate and everyone raved. Such wonderful employees too. This place is a MUST! We will be back

The gumbo is perfect the shrimp is top shelf, the catfish is excellent, the fries are seasoned just right, even the tartar & cocktail sauces are fresh & delicious…
The “fudgy brownie pie” thingy is to die for, may not even be legal

The hostess was super nice. The atmosphere is welcoming. The place is small but we ate outside at one of the tables because it was such a beautiful day. The food was very good! I enjoyed the seafood gumbo and boiled shrimp.

Driving through and the colors caught my eye. Told my wife we had to go. Didn’t disappoint. Shrimp po’ boy, shrimp basket, seafood gumbo, bread pudding were delicious.
I will say watch out for the deck and flooring, little wonky and some of the boards were old (but it is an old building).

Ate here today with my daughter and her family! We couldn’t decide what to choose because the choices were like Louisiana!! I chose crawfish ettouffe and I tried the remoulade sauce! Everything was great! Brought gumbo and ettouffe home for my husband!! He’ll love it too!

I’m from FL and came to the small town of Haleyville on business. The food from this place was fantastic! I had the sautéed shrimp salad and a cup of their seafood gumbo. It was so delicious and the staff was very friendly!

The crawfish bowls arent exactly the best , but the Po Boys make up for it . Great rustic style scenery too !
