Superb tender chicken. We ordered chicken tikka biryani and fatoush with chicken. Both dishes are full of flavor. The salad is crisp and fresh. We enjoyed chai too.
Jafar’s Wellness Beverage is also sold here. A wonderful nourishing almond beverage that’s great for gut health.

Update (Jan 17th, 2026): I just learned that there is a place to pray in the back. I’d love to give Gulzaar another star for this if I could.
Throughout the years, this restaurant has remained on our top 5 favorite restaurants. The service is courteous and the food is consistently magnificent.
We believe their chefs are magicians because they consistently serve the most tender meats in their Chicken Tikka Biryani and Mix Plate Biryani plates. Many restaurants that serve this type of dish don’t come close to serving meat this soft.
Their Fried Eggplant (it comes with Afgan Naan) is a must-have. We enjoy this dish so much that it has become a staple dish with our meals.
Another must-have is their Veggie Samosas. The tomatoe dipping sauce that comes with it is ridiculously addictive and compliments the curry stuffing inside the Samosa. If you like the orange sauce from La Vics or Iguanas, there’s a big chance you’ll also like this dipping sauce.

This place doesn’t look like much from outside and the decor inside is not the most enticing but let me tell you the food is great! We ordered chicken tikka biryani and beef and chicken sandwiches. The taste was amazing! So flavorful! My picky teen devoured the biryani. Everything was very fresh and the sandwiches came on french rolls I think, crunchy and fresh. The biryani came with salad on the side which was nice too. I would highly recommend and I will go back to try fatoush salad and hummus.

Very clean place, floors were so clean and tables! Nothing sticky anywhere. I got beef sandwich to go,and it was delicious!They were friendly as well. It had some Middle Eastern decorations as well. Simple minimalist design but calming atmosphere.

Gulzaar is a Halal restaurant and has been consistent in terms of the taste. I have been coming to this place for a long time. Even though they had an ownership and management changed, but taste has been consistent. Their Chicken samosas are the best on the menu. Their sandwiches and biryanis are good as well. You can ask them to make it spicy as well. They do have dine in space and restaurant over all is very clean. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for Halal food.

We ordered sandwiches from here at work today.. I Have not been eating bread for the last few months and as I looked at everyone’s sandwich, I asked if it was worth it.. They all said yes… So I decided to go against my diet and dig in… And OH MY GOODNESS..it was SOOO WORTH IT! I felt like I was talking about the sandwich for the next few hours… as I am about to go to sleep, I am very grateful that I tried the beef sandwich today!! DELICIOUS !!! Can’t wait for the next time!
