Guisados in West Hollywood has tasty tacos with great flavor, but the overall experience was just okay. The place was super loud, hard to have a conversation, and it wasn’t as clean as I expected. The tables were sticky, and the floor looked like it needed a good sweep. The staff was decent, and the food came out fairly quickly, but the atmosphere took away from the meal. If you’re just grabbing food to go, it might be worth it, but for dining in, I expected a bit more.

The Mole taco is the best taco I’ve had IN MY LIFE- I will say, and the horchata cold brew is delicious. Staff is so friendly. I’ve brought my friends here who were visiting California and every time they are mind blown. It’s small businesses like Guisados that make LA so awesome.

Stopped here on vacation. The menu had a large selection of tacos and other items. I asked the server if there was something he could recommend or what was their top selling tacos he replied “there’s a lot”. Unfortunately that didn’t help me decide what to order. I decided to try the sampler. It came with 6 delicious filling mini tacos.
The restaurant was next to many restaurants/ bars. The tables outside is great for people watching.

Classic Taco spot around LA and this is the West Hollywood location. I always end up getting the smaller when I’m not super hungry, but need a little something that will make me full and not too stuffed. This location is busy late at night after the bars and during the day not too bad. Service is pretty fast and they get food out quickly. There are a few tables indoors and an outdoor area. Overall, a good reliable spot to get some tacos!

The food definitely smells good, but I would not recommend ordering it to go. My tacos were very soggy with puddles of liquid in the center. Note- they were soggy as soon as I opened them in the car. By the time I got home they looked like photos attached. I suggest ordering toppings on the side.
Also they don’t carry straws.
Pros- The staff are very kind. They also prepared the food wearing gloves. Which surprisingly isn’t so common anymore.

Bought a bunch of food to try. I like the sampler the most. Tamales were ok but a little too dry for me(personal preference), they can probably add more protein.
Fish taco was ok, I’ve had lots of better fish tacos.
Restroom was clean
Service was good, there were only two other customers when I visited but the guy kept checking to see if I need anything. It’s overall a decent place

Very nice place to grab authentic food before going out to drink. Of course it is pricey due to its location. I got the shrimp and fish tacos and they were good. Very light, not deep fried. The tortillas had a lot of flavor and were nice and thick, didn’t fall apart. I love a delicious tasting tortilla. The corn tamale was nice and sweet with the egg on top, first time eating tamale with egg. The employees were friendly and asked if everything was good a couple of times. The bathroom was nice and clean. Will definitely be back to try out the sampler next month in October.
