After concluding an art class nearby, my friend and I visited this small but mighty bakery. It was near Mother’s Day, so the aromas of all those baked and beautifully decorated Mother’s Day cakes were plentiful. My friend spoke Spanish to the lady behind the counter, and we wanted something fruity. We were led to some baked treats, and we purchased Apple-filled turnovers, cherry turnovers, and guava turnovers. All the pastries were delicious. The crusts were flaky, but I wish the filling were more abundant. The fillings were not made from scratch, but it does scratch the itch. The next time I visit, I will be trying their sweet breads.

Great little spot to pick up a pastry and go sit next to the lake. The coffee and guava pastry were very good and the service was excellent. Prices were very good. I did speak Spanish which may have helped with service. Will definitely be back.

We bought a cake for a birthday, it was very unpleasant to find out on the day of the holiday that the cake was already spoiled and sour, apparently it had been under glass for a long time. Not surprising, because there is no marking of the date of manufacture on the cake, and no one warns that the cake can be stored for no more than a couple of hours, although I suspect that it was spoiled already on the day of purchase. The cake had to be thrown away.

Plenty of options for pastry with good taste. They also offers cake with customized picture on it which is quiet expensive. But over all good tasting sweets and options for puff pastry!!

I have been here around 3 times. Always have a hard time ordering over the phone in english because it is a spanish bakery but they try. the last time i went i ordered over the phone. the women confirmed my order told me to come in before 6. I said i’d be there by 5. I got there and she had sold the last cake to someone else. i asked why? and she just kept saying no.

My family and I recently (2024) received a cake from this place for our son’s dedication. We ordered the cake we wanted in advance and paid the same day. The cake that we wanted was not the cake we received once picked up. My son’s name was supposed to be on the cake but it wasn’t on it, it was the parents. The picture that we chose was not on the cake. The cake was not good, and it was moist to the point of being wet in our mouths.

Stopped in to try pan de queso from Guatemala. Well, did not get anything as the women at the counter was not attentive to answering questions. RUDE. I suggested labeling the pastries, avoid unnecessary questions. She actually helped the 2 customers after me, ugh!!!!

I drove 40 mins to try this bakery only to arrive and find it locked at 6pm, with employees inside staring at me and ignoring my confused looks. The door clearly stated that it should have been open but no one inside bothered to acknowledge me. How terribly rude. I am very disappointed

I was trying to walk in and the lady closed the door on my face. I knocked the door and she just ignored me. If they closed this early she could of told me instead of closing the door and they definitely need a sign. I was standing there confused and looking for a sign to see if they were closed. Still very rude and unprofessional in my opinion.

Picked up their famous “tres leches” and after cutting it up and handing it out to our guest came to find out the tres leches was spoiled the milk had gone bad by the time we realized the bakery was closed on Sunday , most embarrassing moment when I called first thing Monday morning to let the staff know just to be courteous just in case someone gets sick no the lady was rude and gave me an attitude and had the audacity to tell me why didn’t you bring in the cake so we can verify it was bad ! I told her that I was not asking for a refund I just wanted to let her know that maybe her fridge or something was wrong and to give her a heads up for future reference no the lady only heard to be able to answer back with a nasty attitude and remarks never going back to this place and my guests as well lesson learned here .
