Our server Layla was very nice and attentive. I liked the veal and my daughter liked her pizza.

I overheard another server at the table behind us ask a guest if she didn’t like something she ordered because she hadn’t eaten much of it. I couldn’t hear her response but then I heard the server say she would take the item off their bill. I thought that was a very stand up thing to do – very classy and ethical. Two thumbs up on doing the right thing!!

We chose here based on the history and Alfredo is my son’s favorite dish. It was his birthday celebration so what better place to stop! We were greeted instantly with warm vibes and light jokes. The service was fast and attentive. Our server went above and beyond in every way and was so kind. The food came quickly and was delicious. Way above expectation. Thanks for a great dinner and environment for our kiddos 12th birthday! The patio was cozy and had the perfect amount of holiday vibe. I hope to make it back to Cleveland again someday to eat here again!

My bf and I had a really great experience at this restaurant. We’d been looking for places with nice patios, and this one was absolutely perfect. It’s located in little Italy and seemed like it’s one of the oldest restaurants in Cleveland. The food was quite delicious but felt quite overpriced, mainly the pasta. There was a pianist playing during dinner, which made the whole evening feel more romantic and special. We’d love to come back and try the lasagna next time!

A Meal to Remember – Thank You for Making It Special

After finishing my last round of chemo, we wanted to mark the occasion with something meaningful (a good meal shared with my husband). We chose Guarino’s in Little Italy, and it turned out to be the perfect! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcomed and cared for. They didn’t just serve us food — they gave us an experience filled with warmth, kindness, and that meant more than words can express. My lasagna and my husband’s spaghetti and meatballs were absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was calm and inviting, just what we needed after such a long and emotional day. Thank you to everyone for taking care of us! Your hospitality and excellent food turned a simple lunch into something truly memorable. We will never forget your kindness! We’ll definitely be back, this time to celebrate health and new beginnings!

I am so glad my boyfriend and I chose to eat at Guarino’s in Little Italy CLE. We walked in and the owner greeted us kindly and sat us down. The service was fantastic, the ambience was pleasant, and the food was AMAZING. I really wanted to try the brasciole so bad because I’ve heard of this dish but never have seen it on any menu but I had the spaghetti and meatballs, fantastic. My boyfriend had the chicken parm and also was delicious. We will be returning! Props to the owner of this restaurant for the hours he puts into his place, I noticed and that’s special.

Really cool old old restaurant and beautiful patio. I do think it’s the best patio in Cleveland at least that I’ve seen. It was really hot and sunny but they got more umbrellas for us. The Joe-lato drink is my new favorite alcoholic drink, creamy and lemony. The Alfredo was great but I think I’d try something different next time. But I’d definitely come back!! Very very nice and professional workers too!

Dropped in on a sunny day and was able to sit on the porch. It was nice, but very tight with the other tables. The ambience of the main restaurant is nice. But the food… Horrible! Being March, early spring somewhere in the US, you’d think they would be able to get some fresh vegetable for a pasta primavera- But NO- the overcooked spaghetti was littered with frozen broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots. Ok. I think the carrots were fresh. There was nothing that resembled pasta primavera. It’s a sin they ruined such a simple dish.

This takes me back me back to dinner at my Sicilian grandparents house. Everything about this place is wonderful. The food and drinks were delicious. The outdoor seating was beautiful. Can’t wait to come back here!

Had dinner at Guarino’s on 7/12 and had such a great experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy and classic, and the staff were super friendly. Huge shoutout to the valet drivers around 7:30/8:30—they were honestly the nicest and made the night even better. If you’re looking for great Italian place in Cleveland with charm and history, this is the place!

The oldest restaurant in Cleveland! The atmosphere is amazing and the food can’t be beat! Soooo glad we came here! I had the lasagna- and it is the best lasagna I’ve ever had. The menu said the recipe is 60 years old! SO GOOD! We were visiting the area, and happened upon Little Italy. Worth the visit for sure!
