We have ordered a cannoli cake from here in the past and it was always a 10/10. However, this time it was quite disappointing. The cake was very heavy with rum extract flavor, which was overpowering. Additionally, there was styrofoam placed under the cake that was smaller than the cake itself. When we cut the cake, we accidentally cut into the styrofoam and almost ate it, which was quite surprising since this has never happened before.
I carved out part of the cake in order to take a photo of the styrofoam to show you. We’re not sure what went wrong this time—perhaps there’s a new baker? We just wanted to bring this to your attention.

Is this the same owners ? I bought a Rum cake the other day and used to be at least 3 layers of sponge cake with vanilla and chocolate custard layered in between all I got was a 50 dollar cake made of Crisco frosting and maybe one strawberry in the whole cake ! Then my yearly Zepolies where hard and dry even the custard had a hard edge to it ! Don’t waste your ,money it’s gone way downhill plus they even charged my husband extra for using a DEBIT CARD ! REALY ?

Usual small bakery atmosphere, with lots of selection to choose from. Everything was well organized and the staff were patient. Got some cannolis and they didn’t dissapoint. The eclaires, pass on those.

Nice little pastry shop located in Norwood. Fresh baked pastries at a lower price point than any you might find in the city. Nice selection of pastries and cookies.
I was particularly happy with the tiramisu as well as the filling in the lobster tail pastry. I believe it was a mix of cream, custard and ricotta.
The parking area is small and limited.

We ordered their famous rum cake for my mother’s birthday but you can’t just get the cake and leave so 4 eclairs, a loaf of Vienna bread and some fresh Pecan muffins later we left extremely happy! The service was like we were family! It’s worth the short ride!

I got boiled cream cannolis that were filled while I waited. Unfortunately the cannoli was already mushy that same day. The filling was lacking in flavor and turned brown in the refrigerator within 72 hours. I’ve never experienced any of this with freshly made cannolis. My guess is they were both old.
The biscotti and half moons were good.

Omg this place used to be so good, i dont know what happened to the regular cakes, i bought a red velvet and gold cake with cream cheese frosting, they gave me regular frosting with Diabetes mixed in it, THE SUGAR content was way way way too much, we couldn’t eat the cake, we had to throw it out, I had 25 people for a graduation party, mind you i picked the cakes up on Saturday, so there was nothing we could of done, and family and friends told me it was too too too sweet, I was so upset!! Just stick with the strawberry cake with the whipped cream frosting that’s the best one, dont do regular
