Went for midday brunch/lunch and was able to get these amazing breakfast tacos: 1 chicken, 1 steak, 1 chorizo, with perfect scramble eggs on them and a small trio of salsa and guac, amazing!! Soo good
Huevo Rancheros are good as is the Carne Asada… and must try the pupusa! Try the chicken with jalepeno, and make sure to add the cabbage salad on top!!
Everything ordered was perfectly cooked and delicious, definitely going back to try more things, tho it’s hard not to just get the breakfast tacos again!
For the tacos, the pastor was super tender and flavorful. The chorizo had a nice crust and fennel (which I personally love). The asada was perfectly cooked.
If you’re a cheese lover, you’ll love the queso papusa. It has an impressive cheese pull, with crispy bits of grilled cheese that had leaked out.
The plantains were sweet with crisp edges. My friend said they reminded him of his grandmother’s – which I assure you is the highest compliment that can be given.
I’m familiar with the building from when it was The Big Egg diner, and there are definitely some improvements inside. I hope they are able to continue improving it, because it is quite outdated. The upbeat music and fresh paint give it a carefree feeling. Still, I wouldn’t necessarily go for the ambience, but definitely for the food.
I ordered a torta and guacamole. Both tasted fresh and flavorful! Their chips are great and I love their bread. I look forward to many more visits.
Had a chicken burrito type of item, which was 2/3 rice. The rest of it was just ok.
My partner didn’t like her meal she felt like it mostly came out of a can.
Even though it just opened, there were cobwebs in the windows.
I want you to go here, because I want them to survive. They need to up their game if that’s going to happen.
I had pupusas revueltas and de frijoles. They were fluffy hot and delicious. And yuca frita and chicharron. All delicious
