“EDIT” “THIS PLACE DISPUTES AND REMOVES BAD REVIEWS!” Food was not the best. Don’t expect good Mexican food at this place. Also time to bring food to the table took very long especially for a Mexican restaurant. About 45 minutes wait! The only positive is server did apologize many times.
I ordered the Mexican ceviche. Look at my photo. This is not Mexican ceviche! This took 45 min to make apparently?! Also ordered other plates of food and they forgot to bring out my son’s dish. We had to ask for it even after waiting so long.
We came on a Friday evening. We also saw other people complain on the wait for the food at the front receptionist. I would avoid this place when busy. The servers were all running around looking stressed when I went.
May I remind you, this place is not that big and there should be no excuse why food takes so long to make. Most people go to Mexican restaurants because the food comes out fast and hot and of course the drinks. This place was the complete opposite.
I will continue to drive further out for better Mexican restaurants.

I had a very mixed experience at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing — the flavors were off, and it just didn’t live up to expectations at all.
That said, the service was absolutely outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish. They checked on us often, made sure we were comfortable, and really did everything right.
It’s honestly frustrating because the service deserves 5 stars, but the food was the complete opposite. I truly hope they improve the quality of their food, because the team working there is doing an amazing job.

Awesome food and drinks every single time. Super service, and man are they fast! Have never gotten anything here that I didn’t throughly enjoy. Oh and the adult beverages!! Amazing, I really hope to enjoy this place for a long time to come.

I really enjoyed the food here but the menu is very misleading. We were overcharged. We came into the restaurant at 1:30 and they bombarded us with ordering but I needed time to look at the menu at 1:43 we gave waitress our order pointing out in the LUNCH menu to our surprise we were charged regular price and a weak excuse that the system doesn’t recognize it’s still lunch and it stopped at 1:43 well then you need not to advertise as lunch 11-2 every day when indeed it is not. I really want to chargeback the money but I’m going to let it be. Hopefully the owner fixes this!

First, Google sent us to the old location, near the Subway. Guajillo’s is now located in the nearby Food Lion shopping center. Plenty of parking.
This place is loud. It’s a small place, with an open kitchen and lots of “atmosphere.” Not the worst thing in the world, but you would like to be able to carry on a conversation without feeling like you’re yelling.
The food was okay. I found my dish a bit bland; same with others at the table. Service was great.

First time eating here, and we will certainly come back soon! We were greeted first thing walking in the door and had excellent and quick service. I got the ACP lunch portion, and it was plenty. I thought it was very good. My husband got the Chimichanga plate and he thought it was good. We also shared a taco just to try it. The place is small, but we were informed they are moving in a couple of months a stone’s throw away to a larger space. Definitely recommend this place.

It’s so nice to have a good Restaurant nearby. I have had many good meals at your place both dine in and takeout. Last night however was quite a disappointment. It was around six when my friend and i dined in. She had the Nachos with ground beef and I had the Guaji Salad. The Nachos were horrible and had what appeared to be mushy potted meat which smelled and tasted worst My salad was missing the beautiful avocado slices and after asking for more salsa I didn’t request them. Our waitress ask if my friend needed a box for the nachos but didn’t ask how was the food. We chose not to make a scene. The interior is beautiful and the restaurant has a great vibe . Please get your food and service up to five stars.
