It’s a ma & pa place with authentic Mexican food. They have amazing food and margaritas. The atmosphere is pretty comfortable, too. Warm and lower lighting, not too harsh. There are choices of booths and table seating. A great hidden gem in Azusa!

So we decided to order out tonight and thought their menu looked great and affordable. Be cautious when ordering because their prices are more expensive than what they advertise. When we showed up to pick up our order, we were ignored for over 5 minutes. Bring cash if you don’t want to be charged $1 for using a card! The portion size of the food was not worth the price, food tasted fine but will be going elsewhere.

I used to eat here 25 years ago with a friend and his dad, went back this last weekend, and it was like I never left, the food was just like a remembered it, restaurant was exactly like I remembered it, the menudo hit the spot, I’m rarely on that side of town anymore, but when I am, I’m gonna stop to eat here, their staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need, the food here was just as good as I remember it, can’t wait to go back, they only have pozole on Thursdays, so if you’re a fan of that, keep that in mind, you know it’s gonna be good and fresh

The guacamole is addictive! It reminds me of the snack shack at the baseball field when I was a kid. The waitresses are so friendly and helpful and the food is great. I wish they didn’t close so early, that’s my only complaint.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid with my family. Every plate is good, but my go-to is the menudo on Sunday and my husband gets the chilaquiles (so I steal a bite). I love that they always ask if you need a menu because a lot of the patrons don’t – we’re regulars! It’s that kind of place. Comfy, casual atmosphere with authentic Mexican dishes. Bonus, I can drink their salsa it’s so good!

Cute Mexican restaurant with good food and friendly staff. We brought our toddler and the gal who was our server was so nice and brought a coloring book and crayons for him and a bowl of beans and rice. It was such an unexpected surprise for a family who has a tough time going out with a little one.
