Guadalupe’s Mexican Grill, named after Our Lady of Guadalupe, are locally, family-owned, fast casual restaurants with a scratch, open-concept kitchens that have no cans, microwaves, or freezers. We prepare our recipes in-house, by hand daily. Recipes were crafted by Chef Carlos Zepeda who hails from Silao, Guanajuato Mexico. We cut veggies by hand, slow cook meats, make our own salsas, shred cheese off the block, and pickle jalapeños. We cook… here. Try the homemade pineapple water, homemade limeade, canned exclusive Mexican lager, or margaritas. Vegans, vegetarians, and gluten sensitive individuals love our menu! See website. Our family appreciates your business. We believe in impacting souls and spreading joy. ¡Viva Cristo Rey!

Every time we visit Fort Wayne we try to eat somewhere new. Since our grandkids (and their parents) live there so we drive up several times a year to visit. We’d been by Guadalupe’s a few times but decided this visit was our time to finally try it. We had no idea what to expect when we walked in.

What we found is similar to Moe’s, Chipotle, Salsarita’s, QDoba, etc. Fast casual where you walk down the line and they build your food as you go. I’m a fan of this type of eatery and I was hungry, so it was a perfect storm.

They have an impressive amount of food options. Chicken, steak, barbacoa, carnitas, tofu, veggies, chorizo, ground beef, and chicken barbacoa are the protein options! It’s impressive. you can chose a burrito, a bowl, tacos, a salad, or nachos. As you go down the line they add your additional ingredients like veggies, cheese(s) and sauce(s).

There are other options, of course. Chips & Salsa, Chips and Queso, all of your typical Mexican side-dish fare.

The restaurant was clean and tidy when we walked in, and every staff member was occupied cleaning, serving, or doing food prep.

I was very impressed by the guy who was sitting there preparing fresh onions. He was standing there slicing and chopping onions right out in the open. They don’t hide anything at Guadalupe’s. It’s all right out front.

Our food was hot and delicious. I had a chicken burrito with some fresh jalapeño slices and pico de gallo (always a great combination)…and it was awesome.

There’s a sign above the doorway that says:
No Cans.
No Microwaves.
No Freezers.
Made from Scratch.

I can tell that Guadalupe’s takes pride in what they do.

Guadalupe’s catered our wedding yesterday and we were so pleased with everything! They were very accommodating with our needs, Brian added everything we needed and more to our order, it was a smooth pick-up with everything ready to go, and our guests absolutely loved it, as did my husband and I:) we love Guadalupe’s!!!!

If you like Chipotle, you’ll also enjoy Guadalupe’s Mexican Grill as the food options are very similar with the same setup as far as ordering food. I laughed at the fact bacon is an option and is labeled a vegetable as it’s on the vegetable half of the food options, but I would probably skip bacon next time as it’s a strange flavor for Mexican food. Otherwise it seemed slightly cheaper than Chipotle and was a solid alternative. My chicken bowl was just under $10 after tax.

Jason was unbelievably kind, helpful, and made an insanely good burrito. Super energetic, fun, and the employee you want to have as the face of your brand. Will come again for the food and to hang with him!

My apologies for the late post, but better late than never! If you saw my post about the Illinois road location… OMG Guadalupe’s is consistent! The Vegan Options are amazing! The service was wonderful, super friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The lady who was assisting us informed us that she eats the vegan options too! The portions Wow! We’ve been back since and between the two locations we really enjoy them both. If you’re ever in the area stop in and check them out! You won’t regret it! Keep it up!!!

This is the first time I’ve been to this location but it has the same issues as the others. I ordered the three taco meal with ground beef. After I sat down to eat the food I noticed a pool of grease from the ground beef. The ingredients tasted bland and the meat just tasted like grease. After one bite it all ended up in the trash.

The customer service is always friendly and pleasant. My favorite thing to order is the burrito bowl. The portions they give out is decent size, plenty of leftovers for another meal easily. Not to mention the taste/look of the food is always fresh. You gotta try their Homemade Pineapple Drink it so refreshing!!
Also the building is alway clean!
I definitely recommend eating here if you want something healthy and fast to eat.

This place used to be alright. Not anymore. 100% do not recommend.

Their rewards feature is an exercise in frustration. You’re supposed to earn discounts every time you purchase something, except their system absolutely does not work and you actually get nothing. When I talk to them about it, suddenly they are the most incompetent people on the planet and can’t seem to figure anything out, or fix it. I’ve dealt with this issue too many times with them now. And the food quality has gone downhill, so nothing to redeem them anymore. Today was my last visit to Guadalupe’s.
