Food was not cook. Rice old & dry. Beans had a black square in the servicing of beans to me
Waiter would not have them fix food right.
Bought the three enchilada cheese for dinner. I had beans and rice and it wasn’t good the enchilada, cheese, one melted corn tortillas which I’ve never known it to be there. The rice was dry taste old. The beans didn’t taste right and whatever that black square was I don’t know.

Waiter ask if it was plastic or a rock.
I did not put it in my mouth.

My 2 boys and have eaten here since they were teens. The food was great then. My guys now men in there 30’s

Second time here. The Shrimp Diablo is amazing. Might be my new dish. Delicious home made flour tortillas. Spicy Green Sauce is authentic. Definitely my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Bastrop TX.

Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant is my go-to for amazing Mexican food! The XL burrito is huge, packed with flavor, and easily one of the best I’ve had—it’s definitely worth trying if you’re hungry. The staff is friendly, prices are fair, and the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. Always a great experience here!

I liked my food, I got the norteno plate, but my wife said her Enchiladas verdes tasted like they had old chicken meat. My son also didn’t like his tacos meal, but I enjoyed mine! I reduced the star because the bathrooms were nasty. Overall okay

A very capable Tex-Mex restaurant. Very attentive service. A bit overwhelming on the menu.

The reason for the lack of a fifth star was their Top Shelf margarita. I appreciate the real lime juice but it was too much. I didn’t taste any kind of Contreau or other balancing liquor. It really puckered my lips!

Otherwise, the food was just what we would expect.

I also don’t like the fact that they charge more if you use a credit card. Shame on them!

On Christmas Eve, we went and had a great beef fajitas meal. They weren’t awfully busy at our surprise. Thank you to the hard working employees. MERRY CHRISTMAS.

My husband and I go to Guadalajara at least once a week. I love their tortilla soup, chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce and he loves the chicken Laredo. We’v

e brought family here many times and they love eating here too. Order anything, you will enjoy it. The only thing I haven’t liked was the Chipotle enchiladas which have fajita meat in them but I’m not a big fan of fajitas anyway. The pics are of the Pollo chili relleno and a cup of tortilla soup on the green plate and the Laredo chicken with churro beans on the black plate. Yum!

I was a fan, but now Im encouraging everyone to patronize the other Mexican restaurants in Bastrop. My family sat there for 21 minutes and no one came to the table. There were only 3 other tables with customers. There were more employees eating, talking to each other, or on their cell phones than customers. Owners, it’s 2025. Please inform your employees that other people speak Spanish. Watch what you say about the customers. We GLADLY left took our money to another establishment.

Be careful because this place got me sick after eating there for the first time. The food was not good enough to justify the illness I got from it either.
