I wish I could leave zero stars for this place. Beans and rice had no flavor. Beans and salsa were watery. Because of this place, I will now start placing reviews as I travel for work. Server only came to the table twice. My brothers chicken strips had what looked like to be Arby’s curly fries as the side. Stay away! The margarita came with a lemon and was a margarita mix.

I love going to the sister restaurant in Spearfish SD. So when I was in town for training, I wasn’t going to miss an opportunity to have amazing authentic Mexican cuisine. Can’t go wrong with any of the food, and the staff is always happy and upbeat. Will continue to go here as long as I can.

We are only in Pierre for a few days and one of the reasons I’m sad I’ll be leaving soon is this place. Probably one of the most delicious plates of Mexican food that I’ve had. The chips were good, salsa was good, the Pollo Fundido was amazing, and my husband loves his dinner as well. Simply delicious all the way around, and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!!

Was disappointed, salsa was like tomato juice watery and zero taste. My veg burrito had really quite a good amount of different vegetables which was nice but bland beans and rice cancelled the taste. I couldn’t put enough hot sauce and jalapeños on to make it enjoyable. Margarita was just ok. Server was a little rushing, like just hurry up and tell me what you want. A plus wife’s chicken enchiladas was good

NO NO NO NO NO !!! it looks like a nice mexican restaurant… DON’T BE TRICKED! I’m 62 yrs young and this is the worst I’ve ever had! Read other negative reviews and all the things they identity, I concur. DRIVE BY GO ANYWHERE ELSE !

The food was so bland, salsa is more like tomato soup. I was told if I wanted steak chalupa instead of hamburger there was an $18 up charge on top of the $15 for hamburger. Beans were tasteless as was everything. I would eat fast food before I would recommend this place.

Make sure you finish your whole plate no matter how awful the food is. We received judgemental glares the whole way to the register, after waiter saw our plates on table still having food on them. She preceeded to walk to the kitchen door and laugh showing cooks our plates saying “they only ate this much”. Felt like every employee was looking at us disapproving. 10/10 would not recommend.

Pretty average. Food was okay…not full of flavor, but not terrible. Wait staff was average. The restaurant and bathrooms felt like they could use a deep cleaning…again nothing horrible, but nothing outstanding either.

We are just passing through and found this great mexican restaurant. We thought the chips and salsa was great but the dinners themselves were terrific as well. Go there you won’t be sorry. They have an extensive menu.
