Great first meal in Tucson. The made-to-order salsa alone is worth the visit. Had one of their signature molcajete dishes – excellent. Planning to try a chimichanga on my next visit. Busy even late on a weeknight, always a good sign for local popularity. Service was attentive despite the crowd. Expect waits at peak times, but it’s worth it. Should be on every Tucson dining list.

We stopped by on a Saturday for lunch before we went to visit the zoo. We are from out of town & this was our first time here. We were seated quickly and our waiter brought our drinks to us quickly. The time to order & the time it took to get our food in total took a while, but we overheard someone say a server had called out so ours was working overtime so we didn’t mind waiting.
The tableside salsa & guacamole were fantastic! It was fun watching her make it right next to us, and it tasted delicious. We were all also quite pleased with the meals we picked out, everything was hot, the portions were plentiful, and we didn’t have any issues with our food.
The restaurant itself seemed clean as did the bathrooms. There was a bar area you could sit at if you didn’t want a table, and it wasn’t overly noisy so you could still have a conversation with your party. I also enjoyed the decor they have around the restaurant, there were a lot of really pretty glass pieces hanging from the ceiling.
I’d be willing to stop by again the next time we were in town!

We really enjoyed eating here. They make salsa for the table at the table and you can pick your spice level. We had a great server with a good sense of humor. He let us know that the kitchen was backed up but I’d say we got our food in a good amount of time.

Amazing authentic and the atmosphere was on point. I literally felt like I was at the family BBQ. Plenty of choices, all explained with excellent customer service. A must try the salsa as Elsa hand makes right in front of you at the table. She was very helpful. Absolutely must take the drive a solid would recommend

Such a fun experience. The savior was KJ at the bar because service started out sketchy. They were super great at get us interested and ordering the tableside guacamole and salsa. The server left us begging for set ups and napkins for what seemed like hours. However a trip to the bar to get the setups. Kj was a saint. He totally checked up on us and made sure our experience was superior. We enjoyed our meal and had such a fun night. Thanks KJ!

This place is a true treasure. I could tell that this place was going to be five stars the moment that we had fresh salsa prepared at the table not to long after we walked in and were sat. The salsa chef made the salsa so delicious that it blew our minds. Guadalajara Mexican Gill brings authentic Mexican food, excellent service, and an atmosphere that really makes you feel like you are part of family at home having a great meal. I can tell that the owners put a lot of hard work into making great food and having a great atmosphere for customers. I’d would also like to thank Jorge our server for going above and beyond to make us feel at home. Jorge was on top of refills, and making sure our food came out well prepared; you don’t find serving like anywhere else. Keep up the good work, Guadalajara Mexican Grill.

New to the area, I wasn’t sure where to take family visiting the day after Thanksgiving, but my niece and I were amazed at the 22,000 reviews of Guadalajara and the location was perfect after visiting the Botanical Garden. Great choice!! Comfortable atmosphere with lots of small children and the lunch menu was brilliant! So many choices and such great value. Across the table we had chicken and carnitas fajitas, ground beef tacos, and carnitas burrito (not the same flavor as fajitas and both were amazing). All the meat was so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Service was top notch. Trust the 22 thousand and eat here.

Bright and colorful Mexican decor greets you as you walk in. Very fun! The best part of our night was the tableside salsa and guacamole. Freshly made were also the horchata and lemonade we enjoyed. The enchiladas were bland to my taste. The mole was Guadalajara mole so it may be less tastier than Oaxacan, not sure. Portions are perfect. Restaurant was pretty empty when we went so attentiveness was on point.
