People are very nice. Nachos was a solid 7/10 the have different type of nachos so definitely would give them a try. My husband shrimp and was a good 8.5/10. Rice and beans are very good. But remember you cant just judge the restaurant from one simple food you try. So we definitely will go back and try something different.

Long overdue review. Ordered catering from Guadalajara for the weekend before Christmas. They were absolutely fantastic at getting the order and were so nice to work with. The hostess was so nice and make sure everything went well with the order was ready on time and hot. She made an extra effort to make sure we got everything hot, including the chips.
The food was perfect not just my opinion everybody else’s also.
We enjoy dining in the restaurant getting takeout. Catered food for 15 was no exception.
Highly recommend giving them a try if you haven’t. I think it’s the best kept secret in Melissa.

Went here for months without any issues. Friendly people for the most part……until recently placing a pick up order. I ordered complete dinners but asked for changes on the fajitias. The change was simply nothing but meat and vegetables; nothing else. The host suggested they would just add more vegatables to substitute for not having all the other things…..I appreciated this. However, I was charged extra for for the vegetables but there certainly wasn’t a discount for not getting rice, beans, tortillas, chips and salsa though. Marias restaurant, across the street, is happy to make substitutions without hassles or over pricing.

Guadalajara Cocina Mexicana is an absolute gem! From the moment we sat down, we were treated to amazing service and even better food. Everything tasted homemade, bursting with flavor, and truly authentic ❤️.
The salsa and queso? Next level! The salsa had such unique flavors that I couldn’t get enough—it’s easily some of the best I’ve ever had. The chicken enchiladas were incredible, and the fact that I found a bone in my chicken just proved it’s home-cooked and not some pre-processed stuff .
Every bite we had was delicious, and we were completely blown away by the quality and care that goes into their food. We’ll absolutely be back—this place has officially made it onto our list of must-visits. Highly recommend!

Love the atmosphere, the food was decent, they sent us the wrong order but was reissued. The service was a bit slow but they seemed understaffed.
The chalupha was great though, good hot sauce. Definately will give it another chance as they just opened and ironing things out.

Very dissatisfied and disappointed. The food was bland, at best. They charge a premium for their food. 17.95 for a chimichanga. Also charge a service fee for using a credit card. For me, one and done. The restaurant was empty probably because others are disappointed as well. This place is not recommended.

We went for a birthday dinner Wednesday night around 5 pm. There was one other couple in there that was waiting for takeout and our hostess/waitress was eating her dinner at front booth. She was very cold to us and seemed like we were inconviencing her having to wait on us. Meal was good. She took order and also was the bartender. I don’t think we will go back. I like the people at Maria’s much better
