My wife and I ate here because it was close to where we are staying but the food and service were really good! She is from Mexico and does not always enjoy these experiences but she said the food was good and I really enjoyed mine, so well done to the staff! It is the off-season but the service was very good, friendly and attentive. You should try this place if you are in the area!

So stopped by to try out this place as I have not yet. Orders a combo pick 3 got two beef empanadas and a cheese chilli relleno the empanadas were fried perfectly and tasted great and the chillie rellenoe was really good. The only ding I have is the rice was crunchy not sure if it is reheated or what. The beans where good. Overall I will go back hard to find empanadas near me!

Very delicious! And friendly, nice service! The food was amazing and the chefs take their time preparing your food but make sure it gets out quickly. Definitely a go to place if you ever visit colonial beach. It’s very clean, and a great atmosphere. Very cozy, and humble as well. Try this place out!!!!

Towel have tried the other Mexican restaurant in town and there is no comparison with this place. The food was homemade style, fresh and hot. Desert even better. Service was great so we are definitely coming back…

This place is definitely a hidden gem in Colonial Beach. The restaurant is located right on a main street with plenty of parking. We decided to try it and we were pleasantly surprised how delicious the chips and salsa were. We were greeted with a smile when we walked in. My wife and I both ordered the steak tacos and let me tell you the steak was cooked perfectly. The sauce and guacamole were both delicious. The order also came with some rice and refried beans. The rice was excellent with veggies mixed in which I love. My son ordered the enchiladas Mexicana he said they were excellent. If you get a chance to stop by for some really good food and friendly service give this place a try you won’t be disappointed!!! 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend!!!!!

I love Mexican and we have 3 in town. I have eaten at more then 15 mexican restaurants. This place is the best. Chips are not greezy and the salsa is almost addicting. We ordered a top shelf margarita. Best we ever had we will be taking 2 home for later. Each of us ordered a lunch fajita. I got chicken he ordered shrimp. Excellent flavor throughout the entire dish. Chicken was cooked perfectly with a smokey flavor. Shrimp was cooked perfect with a light Cajun flavor. Beans are flavorful and actual beans in them. Next time I will ask for a hotter guacamole. While the guacamole was excellent I perfer it a bit more spicy. Our waiter was very attentive and kept a watch for things we might need even without asking. This will be our new favorite. Trust me my husband and I never agree on food we have very different tastes. This place has both of us impressed

The Colonial Beach location is as good as Locust Grove. It was well worth the drive from Fredericksburg to get excellent food and service. It was great to see Rafael and other familiar faces. Highly recommend the new restaurant.
