Food was good, guacamole was delicious
We came on a Saturday and they need at least one more server.

The food was excellent! There was a mixup on my order so the owner comped my meal. They really careful about the customers so highly recommended.

My wife has been wanting to take me here for months. She had gone with a group of friends and RAVED about the food.
So after a kayaking trip at a park close by, she finally had the chance to take me there.
We noticed it was not busy at the time and immediately got a seat. Our server came and drinks were ordered. My wife a diet coke, and I a MEGA MICHILADA! The diet coke is what it is, the MEGA MICHILADA, was a whopping liter of beer with tomato juice and spices, topped with what looked like a pound of shrimp. It was good!
My wife ordered a steak burrito, and I a trio of tacos (carnitas, carne Melina, and all pastor).
I did not take pictures of the food for some reason. Needless to say, all of the food was great.
The tacos (only soft corn, and served with cilantro and onion, THE ONLY WAY TACOS SHOULD BE SERVED) came with rice and beans. This is a must I get this at all Mexican restaurants, because if you can’t do the simple things, how do you think the other food will be?
The rice was meh, but the beans were the perfect texture. Nice and smooth with the right amount of un-pureed beans. They were also topped with a wonderfully salted cheese (I guess cotija?). It provided a pop of flavor that is stored in my minds flavor bank.
Overall we will be back. The prices were fair, the service good, and the food is authentic.

Easy to go back to. The food, service and atmosphere are all excellent. The enchiladas i had were upper echelon delicious. I highly recommend if full of authentic flavor is what you’re seeking

Terrible experience! Stay away from this place… placed an order for my family
To go . waited over 45mins on a time
Crunch to find out the owner never put the order in ! Didn’t even offer to do anything instead shrugged his shoulders. Told us he would put it in now all nonchalant . Maybe next time write the order out ! Instead sat there waiting without checking in . Next time be more aware instead of chatting with customers walking in immediately! Now
Leaving empty handed

After our walk we enjoyed a health bite and both enjoyed the large portion of molcajete hearty and flavorful dish. The restaurant needs attention to detail and significant updates.

A truly average experience. Food, mostly typical fare but on the more expensive side. Pretty much all tastes the same. One server handing entire room of customers. Longer than average wait times as well. It’s a pass for me moving forward.

Very disappointed, will not dine there again. Very sneaky and deceiving. For the past 20 years dining in Mexican restaurants, this one was the only one where you do not get salsa and chips as you sit. They charge $5.99 for this but they don’t tell you that up front, you just find out on the bill when you are about to pay.
Next thing was the amount of food. Rice and beans come in a very small square bowl, 90% filled with rice and beans just about 2 table spoons. My husband ordered a meal for which they said that it is a skirt steak, but he didn’t get that kind of meat.
I ordered chicken fajita for which we all know comes in a cast iron serving dish. Here they placed it on a regular plate all together with lettuce and tomatoes. ONLY lettuce and tomatoes; NOOO guacamole, salsa, and sour cream!!!! Fajitas usually come as a very big meal and I always have a left over, but here I was able to eat it all. The seasonings and taste was ok otherwise.
And finally Margaritas were served in a very small glass.
