Shouts out to the Waffle Taco man, tons better than I expected.
Kid friendly, yes. High top and chair seating. Outside seating available.
Kid Menu offerings include quesadillas, beef, or fried chicken tacos with tots and juice.
We tried the jerk chicken, jerk salmon, soul food, duck wings, and more. All were rich and flavor explosions.
They offered happy hour with reasonably crafted pours.
This truly is a gem and hope the team has great success!
This establishment requires payment upfront, even for dine-in orders. I ordered the fish tacos and unfortunately did not enjoy the taste. I did not ask for a refund — I simply asked if I could exchange the meal for a different item.
I was told that exchanges are only allowed if there is a physical issue with the food (such as hair or contamination). Since the concern was the taste, they would not allow a replacement.
I was also informed that they do not offer refunds under any circumstances.
Please keep this in mind when ordering, especially if you’re trying something new. Once your order is made, there are no refunds or exchanges unless there is a quality or contamination issue.
I had the Shrimp Po’Boy Bowl, and it was delicious. Fresh ingredients, great flavor, and a generous portion. You can tell they put thought into their combinations because everything worked really well together.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the space has a cozy neighborhood vibe — definitely a place I can see myself coming back to with friends.
If you’re in the Stone Mountain area and craving something flavorful and fresh, I definitely recommend giving them a try!
Tots were good as a starter.
We tried 5 different tacos.
Chicken & Waffles: was ok. The waffle had little flavor, but the maple syrup and corn elevated the dish.
Po Boy Shrimp tastes like a traditional po’ boy. The shrimp was cooked great.
Soul Food Chicken: The collard greens were perfectly cooked, and the chicken was well-seasoned. This was our fav!!!
Hawaiian Steak: Pineapple was too overpowering, and the steak was a bit chewy
Jerk salmon was just ok. Needed more seasoning especially on the salmon. The plantains weren’t sweet.
Overall good experience. Would recommend and would visit again.
