Had an amazing lunch at Guac Shop Commack today!! The food was so fresh, specifically the steak was so tender and delicious. The store was very clean and the staff was very welcoming. Great experience and will definitely be back!!

I ordered the bogo deal for birria tacos online. Usually it’s two tacos per meal. So when I opened up my box to find only tree tacos I was highly disappointed. For $15 I would hope that I get to enjoy my food instead of having to deal with a headache. I asked them if they could give me a refund and only offered to refund me one taco worth. Or I could reorder and get reimbursed but then I would have to get another door dash order to go through. What a mess. The tacos lacked flavor and the birria consomé was watered down def not worth another visit.

Just ordered Uber eats from here. The amount of jalapenos in every dish (burritos, tacos, bowls) was a bit too much. No mention of it in the food descriptions on Uber eats and the kids couldn’t eat any of it.
I think the food was good? but it was seriously overshadowed by my mouth being in fire. I’ll like to try it again but maybe in person. I like spicy, hence why I eat Mexican, but this was brutal.

I used to like guac shop as they always had good quality, tasty food with good portion sizes, and it was perfcet balanced meal after workout. Lately, people working at Commack location are not aware of protein portion sizes, when asked I was told portion size for chicken is 4oz, however, when I measured the portion (served on side), it was only 2 oz. And its multiple employees, sometiems taking shortcuts in chaging containers when an ingredient is finished. Company should work on training all staff on quantity, quality and portions of food so there is consistency. I would not like to continue going if I am charged for full entree and given only half of protein portions. Its not worth my money anymore at that point.

I ordered a salad with steak, beans and other veggies. There are 2 pieces of spinach in the salad, about 1 inch of bean juice, and 1/4 inch of liquid fat at the top. The one positive is that I did get the two scoops of steak. This is definitely not a salad and everything is soggy from the bean juice and fat that should have been strained before adding. Not worth the $15 I paid unfortunately. Will not be back.

I went to guac shop for the first time today and it will unfortunately be my last. I came in and wasn’t greeted no big deal but both workers looked me right in the face and went on doing what they were doing. I then proceeded to order and the lady helping me was unnecessarily rude for no reason. I got a bowl with brown rice beans one scoop steak queso onion jalapeño cheese and sour cream. I had done the math and my total would’ve came out to around $14 dollars and that’s what it was on the pos system until she clicked another button and now my total was magically $18.76. Before I could say something she walked away and I asked for a receipt because I had no idea why the price went up. She gave me a look, gave the receipt and rolled her eyes when walking away. I take a look at the receipt and see she charged me for two scoops of barbacoa which is priced way higher than the steak??? Needless to say this was very disappointing customer service when there was absolutely no reason to be so rude.
