I never give reviews but for a small store in freeport to be this good was a blessing. Staff were extremely friendly, place was clean and my server was NOT cheap on the portions at all. Food was amazing. Hopefully they can add more protein options for vegetarians. (Tofu was great though). 10/10 experience.

The food is fantastic! Everything I’ve tried so far has been great, from the tacos to the quesadillas and the bowls. Super fresh ingredients. Fantastic queso, fantastic guacamole. It’s become one of my favorite go-to’s. I’m there 2-3 times a week lately. Very kind/helpful/friendly staff as well. Katie Is always so pleasant! I’m glad i found this place.

My kids and I favorite taco shop. The food is freshly made and very tasty. The staff and manager are truly a pleasure to do business with. They welcome you with a warm friendly smile. Very family feel from the start to the end. 100% recommendations

My expectations were low because I used the app “Too good to go” which I have used at this location two times before but yesterday it was a total waste of money even though it was just under $7.00. Basically I paid for two tortillas filled with rice. Conservatively, the two burritos were 90 % rice and much of the rice was hard, hard enough that one would assume it was not cooked but this rice was cooked but clearly left to dry out. I consumed less than 25%!of the first burrito and two bites of the second burrito and had to throw the remainder, which was almost 2 full burritos, in the garbage. Ironically, I was under the assumption that not wasting food and throwing it out was the whole idea behind “Too good to go “. I have used Too good to go at this location twice before and it was very good but not this time. Sadly, this will be my last time patronizing this business. To be clear, this review is not meant to hurt this small business as I am very loyal to small local businesses, rather, it’s meant to inform others that they may experience a level of satisfaction that may not be what they were expecting. Having said that, maybe , and I can’t say for sure, the food quality was low due to spending less money by using the Too good to go app.

Ordered online, a chicken/barbacoa and a chicken and beef burrito. Everything was sooo salty. It had soo much potential but it tasted like they just seasoned it with a bunch of adobo.

Got 2 orders of Too Good to Go meals from here. The 4.4 star review on the app is WAY off. Totally got scammed tonight.

I paid $13 for 2 small boxes of 1 tiny rice and beans burrito and half a cheese and beans quesadilla. And a tiny condiment sauce cup worth of guacamole. The burrito was more tortilla than rice and beans.

Despite the lack of any meat in the meal we still got the runs and stomach cramps from the food.

The restaurant should have either put away a proper meal for this purchase like what other participating restaurants do or cancelled the meal reservation all together so that customers aren’t stuck with over paying for something that is just a small serving of really pathetic appetizers of just bad rice and beans.

A much better meal can be had for less $ at Taco Bell. And just about any other restaurant on Too Good to Go app will be better than this. You’ve been warned.

I’m a big chipotle guy. So I have been meaning to come here to measure it up. Finally made it happen. I went with the surf and turf. Chipotle doesn’t have a shrimp option so I wanted to try something new. Both proteins were seasoned well. The mango salsa was a nice compliment to the shrimp and steak. And dare I say the steak was better than Chipotle’s. All in all, I realized Guac Shop is it own entity and both restaurants have the pros n cons. I will def be hitting Guac shop again as it’s flavor profile seem to be completely different then it’s main competitors.

Pretty good Mexican food here like the different sauces and options they have just wish I was able to customize it better like if I wanted to try all the toppings in one bowl I couldn’t unless I paid extra for sauces but other then that good food guac lived up to its name and I’ll visit again soon

Meeh, not that great! Especially if you do NOT like spicy or Jalapenos in your salsa. My quesadilla for some reason had the distinct taste of spicy nacho cheese dip which was strange compared to the other quesadilla ordered. Also who puts jalapeno in pico de gallo? Pretty much all the sides we ordered neither of us could eat cause of the high spice level via jalapenos. My quesadilla was all on the bottom underneath the wrapper & we found the wrapper thicker then usual. The cranberry lime was SUPER overpowered by the lime (basically was lime concentrate). Also forgot a drink order of snapple. Not going back to this chain. Nacho mexican place in hicksville is better.
