Found this gem as i was biking around Western Springs .. as I walked into this small quaint location, the first thing that hit my nose was the smell of clean that if you have been to Mexico, will know exactly what I’m talking about. Ordered their fish tacos dinner, mole enchiladas, and their original classic margarita. The tacos had a delightful crunch batter, perfectly cooked fish, topped with a slaw and red onions. The rice was fantastic and reminded me of my mom’s arroz. The mole was a classic sweet and spicy flavor which you can really taste the chocolate in it and I must say probably one of the tastiest I’ve had outside my house. The margaritas were absolutely delicious and if that sweet and sour mix was homemade I’d like the recipe please! Didn’t even matter what type of tequila you use cause it was just that good. I will definitely be back for another meal or two or three!

My husband and I recently went to Guac N Tacos. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very inviting. Being that my husband I are vegan, they have three different tacos on the menu to choose from. The tacos, beans, rice, and guacamole were good!

Got some takeout on a Saturday night. Place was pretty dead except for a group of teenagers hanging out, so maybe this place does more takeout than dine in? Food was typical Mexican. Good, but nothing to go out of your way for. I had a burrito which was pretty good. Taco’s were disappointing though. They tasted good, but fell apart far too easily. They used only 1 corn tortillas instead of 2 that you often get with other taco places.

The asada tacos and the nachos are tasty. Sometimes they skimp on the lime slices. They make them so thin that you can hardly squeeze any juice out of them. Don’t bother buying the Amazing corn. It’s description doesn’t match what you get or imagine. Given the description on the website you would expect to get Mexican street corn but what I got instead was a cup full of corn with a tiny glob of mayo and paprika. No cotija cheese. Not even enough Mayo and parika to cover the entire cup of corn.

$17 for a small burrito and not much meat plus a can of Coke. Taste ok but way overpriced. I dined in and thought I would get chips and salsa. Nope that would of been extra. Will not return.

Good tacos/burritos. Great horchata. The salsa is pizza sauce with a splash of cilantro and spice, super weird. Maybe take out the oregano? Great guac. Paid $10.50 for 3 tiny flautas, so don’t order the flautas.
