We can’t wait to try their Italian Nights (Wednesday through Saturday nights) dinners. We looked over that dinner menu and will be back for dinner very soon.
P.S. Sorry I did not get to take a before picture ,
food looked so good I just went straight to eating.
Breakfast: 2/17/25 – rode bikes on day off to grab late Breakfast. We had heard about how good they do breakfast and it did not disappoint, I had the Traditional Bennies w Hash Browns and Grits, wife had Omelette w Cheese Onions Green Peppers and tomatoes w red potatoes and English Muffins. Letty was our very cheerful and pleasant server and she asked if we would like hot sauce with breakfast. We said yes, and expected to see Franks or Tabasco or something from a bottle. She came back with a small pour of a green/yellow colored sauce. It was really a nice compliment to the hash Browns and the red potatoes and omelette. So good I had to ask Letty what it was, the answer was its house-made “Tomatillo”. That alone is worth coming back for, but really everything was great. Attached photos from dishes and sauce.
Dinner 1/17/2025 – We love this location, very charming and the owner Tommy is so friendly and has nice sense of humor. My wife and I were lucky to get to sit in the cute table for 2 by the window. We went for the Italian Nights menu. We Shared the Arancini appetizer, house salad, and she had the Linguini w Marinara, I had the owner recommended Lobster Ravioli. For dessert we shared the Douce de Leche. Everything we had was fantastic. One of the Best lobster ravioli dishes I have had. The arancini was nice, smaller bites, which I like. We will be back for sure! Thanks for a great dinner experience Tommy!
You come here for the food. Omelets are nice sized, served hot and coffee is decent. There are plenty of other items including pancakes, Benedict’s and scrambles.
What you won’t find here is fresh OJ, pure maple syrup, Avocado toast, fruit plates or Bloody Mary’s.
The interior is very plain and tables are covered with plastic tablecloths and no booths.
However, the owner is always on hand and does his best to make sure your food is served properly. He should make sure coffee is refilled regularly.
So come to eat, you’ll leave satisfied.
Husband had chicken parmigiana. Portion was huge, very tasty and steaming hot. I ordered lasagna. Portion was also very generous and covered in cheese. However it lacked the “bubbling hot from the oven” feeling. It had more of a “warm it until the cheese melts” ?maybe in the microwave? The meat sauce was creamy tomato. I’m sure if I mentioned the not so hot temperature, the owner would have tried to make it right. He was SO nice and since it still tasted good, I didn’t want to complain.
The table next to us was clearly enjoying their meals and desserts. The owner was very proud of their homemade desserts.
The atmosphere was quite homey and seemed fairly family oriented.
To be honest, I did not even know the place was back behind that strip mall so I was pleasantly surprised to find it.
The greeting and service to be seated were immediate and pleasant. I ordered relatively quickly as well.
I was a little bit confused why it took 25 minutes for my food to come out when the cafe was really not that busy. I was also a little bit disappointed that I was not offered a refill on my water until after they delivered the check to my table. Everyone was friendly but it just felt a little bit off.
I noticed a lot of other menu items going by that looked quite delicious and festive, so I imagine I will be coming back again to try some other dishes.
Overall, I recommend people to come in and give it a shot.
