I tried G’s BBQ yesterday, and I want to start off by saying the service was awesome. I got the Brisket platter, which came with 2 sides. I chose the mac n cheese and bbq beans , half rack of por ribs, and a hot link. For all those items, it came out a little over 75 dollars. It seemed a bit much, but I was hoping the food was worth it.
The brisket, ribs, and hot link came slathered in bbq sauce, and I couldn’t taste anything else but the bbq. The Mac n cheese was good. It’s not the best I’ve had, though. It was the same issue with the ribs and hot link. The bbq beans were ok. But they had more pulled pork in it than beans.
They did let me know that they were out of pork ribs but would complete my half rack with beef back ribs. I appreciated that they let me know before they gave them to me.
Out of all those items I got. The beef ribs were the best. I was able to taste the seasoning and the smokiness of the ribs. If you guys try Gs bbq, I suggest ordering the barbecue sauce on the side.
I’ll probably try them again in the future, hoping things improve, but for now, I’ll stick to saltys when I’m craving barbecue.

Extremely overpriced. The portion sizes are really small. I orders a brisket plate and got 2 tiny slices of brisket with 2 small sides. Not worth $30. Not coming back.

I only gave this place one star I got the brisket it was tender and I had a good Smoky flavor the only problem was this place is way overpriced for the amount of portions they give you I will not be going back there because they only gave me one slice of brisket and a sandwich McDonald’s Big Mac is bigger than a sandwich that I got from this place everything else was fine I’ve tried it I will not go back
