The best pizza spot in West Branch hands down. I’m not one to usually order breads sticks… but I’m telling you to order them you won’t be disappointed we got the ninja turtle pizza snuck was amazing

Worth the stop for great food!
Stopped at G’s Pizzeria while passing through West Branch. It’s an older restaurant, but very clean and well-kept. Service was a little slow, but we weren’t in a rush. The centerpiece of the dining room, a massive stuffed brown bear surrounded by mounted animal heads, was a bit distracting and not really my vibe while eating, but the food made up for it. The hand-tossed pepperoni and mushroom pizza was delicious with a great balance of sauce and toppings. The French onion soup was fantastic and not overly salty like others can be. The standout was the Southwest chicken salad, which was fresh and flavorful, especially with their homemade chipotle ranch. I’d definitely stop in again!

We ordered 4 large pizzas. Good size slices. We had pepperoni, meat lovers, BBQ chicken, and chicken bacon ranch. Crust was good. I didn’t walk away feeling like the crust was too heavy and I liked that. The toppings were generously applied and I liked that as well. Everyone in the group enjoyed the pizza.
We had a reserved place in the back and it was private, which I appreciated. The atmosphere wasn’t the best, but didn’t dampen the experience with the group.
Service was ok. Wasn’t top notch. I’d say it was just adequate. We will come back.

Great atmosphere great service. The food was delicious. The personal pizzas are a bit expensive as they start at a price of $8.50 plus $1 for every topping which can get quite expensive for a 7-in pizza. But it was delicious and we enjoyed our meal and our time there. Be sure to park either behind the restaurant or on the streets across from the restaurant on side streets. Currently there’s massive construction going on in front of the restaurant and the main Street is closed to traffic. This restaurant is a mainstay in most communities in Northern Michigan. If you want some great pizza stop in and order one now. I have to say we’ll return as we have for over 25 years.

We ordered pizza for our meeting in West Branch, wow weee we impressed! I had vowed to not eat carbs and bread, but one look at these pies and I stuffed it in! I hope these pictures do them justice. If you’re looking for the next guilt filled dinner, G’s is the place to go!

We have eaten at this restaurant for many years and have been very pleased … but today, not so much.
It was not real busy, party in the back room and lots of open tables. So the hostess tried to set us at a tiny 2 person table by the cold door in the back room. I declined and asked for different table.
The waiter was very polite but seemed a bit inexperienced. I had to ask for plates to share my specialty salad with the table.
We ordered chicken parm and lasagne. Very salty, and WAY too much garlic. Couldnt taste anything else. At least the Antipasto salad was really good as was the garlic bread.
After giving the waiter cash to pay the bill he brought back my change without a reciept. Pretty disappointed. I probably will not take anyone there for dinner in the future. It used to be a special local go to… not anymore Im afraid.

We have been going to Gs for over 20 years. Every time we are in the area, we look forward to some Sharon’s Bread and pizza pockets. This last visit, the Sharon’s Bread is no longer on the menu, but if you ask you can get it (thank God, we always have that in memory of my Mom, Sharon!) My husband got a pizza pocket and though he ate it, it looked and apparently tasted not like the quality that they have maintained for all these years. Hopefully it was just an off day and it was just us. Our service was great and again-we love this place. Just hope quality isn’t starting to slip like most places.

Food- had antipasto salad, fried pickle chips, and a pepperoni pizza. The best part of the whole meal was the pizza crust. Everything we ate was right off the Gordon foods truck. Who makes a salad with shredded lettuce? Shredded lettuce is for putting on top of cheeseburgers. I waited 8 years to go to this place and finally went there on my birthday and it was a huge disappointment. I did not realize it was a chain and I have numerous years in the food service business.

KILLER pizza man. Havent been there in like 10 years or so, but had the lunch buffet, and nothing but praises from me. Best pizza ive had in years, locally to prescott, wb, whittemore, tawas. And didnt just have 2 topping pizzas out for the buffet. They had blt, bbq chicken, supreme and meat lovers. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes, which is great cuz i only get 30 mins for lunch. Will definitely go again. AND ONLY $10….with a pop my bill was less than $14. Cannot beat that in fall 2025.

Server was fantastic in our group however, half the group received there pizza and the other half did not. The second half of our group received there pizza in to-go boxes because the others were already done eating! This is not the first time and will be the last as we will not be back.
