Good food, good service, quirky atmosphere.

We got the Breakfast Burrito with Pork Chorizo and the Eggs Benedict. Both were super good. Will have to try other stuff next time.

Kimberly took good care of us, no notes.

The atmosphere was unique and bright.

My friends and I were in town so we came here for breakfast!

I wasn’t big on the way they did the menu. 2 eggs (egg whites costed extra) toast and choice of meat. 3 pieces of bacon for $13

Cajun fries came with it or another side option but who wants cajun fries for breakfast? Hashbrowns, maybe.

Definitely not needed especially if I already have bread. Two starches?

To add pancakes OR french toast it was extra. Even more starch.

They would not let me substitute the fries out for one biscuit and gravy or anything else.

The biscuit and gravy tasted like can gravy. Most of the time these little hole in the wall places are where you will find some of the best gravy, I just wasn’t expexting this!

The service was okay!

We stopped by for brunch and loved it! The kids had chocolate chip pancakes shaped like cat faces, and they even got to decorate them with fruit from the bowls — adorable and tasty. The bacon, potatoes, and eggs were fresh and flavorful, though the potatoes were a little dry.

The service was very friendly and attentive, and the person seating us had a fun, welcoming vibe. The atmosphere is trendy and artistic, with lots of beautiful art for sale (I even bought a tiny piece!). The cafe was clean, though there were a few flies, which was a minor concern.

Prices are a bit on the higher side — our brunch for four came to around $90 — but the experience, food, and unique atmosphere made it worthwhile.

I would definitely go back if I’m in the area. Perfect for anyone who loves art, breakfast, and delicious food.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Grampy’s Café for a light breakfast, and it certainly didn’t disappoint! Known for its cozy atmosphere and delicious offerings, this spot is quite popular, so we found ourselves in a brief queue to get in. Thankfully, it wasn’t long before we were seated.
Once inside, we quickly ordered the pancakes, and they were delightful! Fluffy and flavorful, they made for a perfect breakfast treat. The ambiance of the café added to the experience, providing a nice, relaxing setting that allowed us to enjoy our meal before heading downtown.
Overall, Grampy’s Café is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy a tasty breakfast in Cleveland. The wait was minimal, the pancakes were wonderful, and the vibe was just right for a leisurely start to the day. Highly recommended!

This Cafe is a well oiled machine! It has the best funky, eclectic, artsy atmosphere. It crackles with energy. The staff are friendly and the service is top notch. Our breakfast was quickly served and delicious! I chose a staple item, eggs benedict. It was perfect. Enjoyed this very much.

Great experience!

Good food and service delivered by the staff at Grumpy’s, especially Maria! She’s got a great sense of humour and good banter! Very knowledgeable about the menu and allergens. The menu is clearly marked for GF items.

The menu does have a warning about gluten free and the risk for cross-contact for wheat, dairy, and meat. No GF surcharge, but there is a surcharge for vegan options.

I had the gluten free pancakes, and family I was with enjoyed all their meals. Good coffee.

Love how the place is decorated so cheerful and local artists works for sale.

Maria (and my dad) gave permission for photos with her – she requested they appear on the Grumpy’s FB page.

My fiancé took me here for the first time and the food was great. I got the breakfast tacos and it was delicious. My fiancée got a skillet and my soon to be stepson got a sandwich. The atmosphere was very nice. They also sell merchandise and art. You won’t be disappointed eating here. We’ll definitely be returning!

I absolutely love this local restaurant! There’s just something special about a neighborhood spot that consistently serves great food and makes you feel welcome every time you visit. The service is always quick and efficient, and the staff are incredibly friendly, which really adds to the overall experience.

One of my favorite things on the menu is the Western omelette. It’s always cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. I usually order it with a side of pork links, some toast, and a refreshing glass of apple juice, which makes for a really satisfying meal. The prices are also very reasonable, so you get a great meal without spending too much.

Another cool thing about this place is the artwork displayed around the restaurant. Not only does it add a lot of character to the decor, but you can actually purchase some of the pieces if you like them. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, and everything — from the dining area to the restrooms — is very clean and well maintained.

Overall, it’s a fantastic place to eat, and I would definitely recommend checking it out!

The menu required an experienced tour guide as I was with a Vegan, and Sienna, our wait person, even knew the ingredients intimately. We both had unique wraps with hints of Mexican… both dilicious. I’m going to make this place a habit it was so perfect!

Delicious! They have a jambalaya omelet. Who knew putting jambalaya inside an omelet would be so tasty. Home fries were good as well. Worth the stop.
