I went to Grumpys for the first time on Friday January 2, 2026. We had a girl’s birthday dinner and wanted to also play pool. When we walked into the restaurant is was very clean and inviting. One side is the private restaurant dining and the other side is the bar side. We ordered the appetizer crab dip. It was excellent . I ordered dry half rack ribs with the BBQ on the side. It came with two sides. The cost was $18.99. It was fantastic. What was also ordered was a cheesesteak with sweet potato fries. They said the cheesesteak was great but they would rather of had their sweet potato with out the cinnamon sugar they add to them it made them too sweet. But the fries themselves they really liked. We had several other meals ordered and no one had any complaints. Very good food. Then we went to the bar side and played pool for a few hours. They only have one table but everyone was fair and respectful with taking turns. We even met new people due to playing for the table. The bar is really laid back and clean. The staff was exceptional . The restaurant side or the bar side the staff was very friendly and professional. I don’t drink alcohol so can’t give no opinions on the drinks they serve. I had their sweet tea with lemon. Lol I would definitely go again.

I ordered carry out for the first time and overall I was disappointed. Food wasn’t terrible but wasn’t great. Vibes were not welcoming at all. I actually felt uncomfortable being in there. Ordered a brownie with my food and didn’t get it. Instead, they marked my name on the receipt as Brownie.

Great comfort food and cold beer. I’ve been eating here for a few years now and everything has been great. The fried oyster sandwich is huge and the rib eye sandwich is dang good as well. I do mostly carryout but the bar is hopping and a great way to watch a game and relax.

Great place for healthy food at reasonable prices. Had the crab soup cup you start then the prime rib with two sides, mash potatoes and green beans. Just what you need when travelling for work! Nice cosy atmosphere with the fire and soft lighting. Friendly staff.

Usually very pleased but tonight I asked about the mom’s pasta because it is in the section that says it comes with two sides but only allows salad and garlic bread witch says it comes with change your menu so I had to order a side of steak fries they came as burnt as can be so I went back up there with the intention of getting a refund and decided to leave them in front of the entrance instead to feed the birds witch probably won’t eat them either

Cherri greeted me at the table and put together one of the best Long Island iced teas I’ve ever had! Food looks excellent and the bar is very clean. Cherri is very personable, I will be returning again just to see Cherri!

Having relocated to the area in February, this was my inaugural visit to Grumpy’s. I must commend the establishment; it presents a welcoming atmosphere. The Swiss/mushroom burger I ordered was quite enjoyable. The experience was enhanced by the friendly reception upon entry. I anticipate returning for future patronage. While I do not recall the bartender’s name, she is the owner’s sister and provided excellent service.

If you want great food this is the place to go! Flame grilled steaks and burgers, homemade crab cakes, and a nice selection to choose from on the menu. Bar atmosphere is lively and entertaining and the dining area is roomy and very pleasant. Service is great and the prices are reasonable. Win win every time at Grumpy’s!
