Stopped in while spending the night close by. Awesome little dive bar. Definitely a great place to grab dinner and a drink if you’re passing through. Very laid back. Kitchen was closed when I arrived but they were still serving fryer food even late at night.

This is about a wholesome as they get. Looks sketchy and I was a bit worried heading to a random bar in a random town. Place was packed with locals. Who were nice as could be. Monday night is darts night. And everyone was up to chat and tell me what was going on. I ordered a burger. It was massive. And tasty and obviously some work went into it. Couldn’t have stumbled on a better place.

Not being from the area I was looking for recommendations for place to visit while in town and there wasn’t a single person that didn’t mention Grumpy’s. Brenda at the downstairs bar was amazing and the atmosphere upstairs with the dance floor was just as great. The recommendations were definitely justified.

From out of town on a long drive, looking for a bar to unwind for the evening and this bar delivered 100%. Forget any other review you see. Bar tender was very pleasant. Locals were friendly. Atmosphere was was exactly the kind of low key watering hole I was looking for to end the evening. Decent hotel a couple of min away. Grumpy’s is the weary travelers dive bar that might just make your night ok. Clean, good priced, calm. Will most definitely come back.

It is a great place to get a good meal play some pool or darts have a few drinks do some dancing or if you just won’t to relax and listen to some music and they have carioki but you are not allowed to sing if they don’t have the song no matter how weal you know the song but still over all good place to meet new people.
